best place to shop 4 sox 9x life armor

what is the best place to shop jewelers xxx armor of whale?

i know you will say larzuk/anja/charsi/gheed on hell, but anja have less armors then lets say larzuk. larzuk also can have elite versions of armors which are also out of the question. all of them also sell armors which can have only 2/3 sockets...

my prefered is gothic with 9x life. unfortunately i stumbled on jewelers armor of whale with 96 life, but it was on armor which can have only 2 sockets :banghead:

If you don't want exceptional/elite armors, charsi/gheed in Hell is best.

no luck so far. is there optimal char level? i know higher levels open some prefixes/sufixes which i dont wanna (which lowers my chances)

The chances for getting one are not very good (say ~1:23000). Optimal char level would be 70 as then an ancient armor can get the jeweler prefix.. But shopping with a higher level char won't make that much of a difference.

few more hours of shoping and nothing yet (found 4 sox 24 fhr ancient)

damn i spent some 10 hours so far...

i even opened uber portal near Larzuk to speed up things

yes i know, i tried that also. but i like how much armors larzuk offer.
i will do some baal running so will check all vendors while waiting portal

intesting that also not a single 3 sox life helm appeared so far, though two 4 sox 7x and one 3 sox 7x life (lev 25) armors

acording to german site chance is 1:27569 (3/152 suffix, 1/136 preffix, 1/4 both).

For some reason I find shopping magic items interesting, more so than regular mf'ing.

It's a great feeling when you shop a really great blue from a store, it gives me great satisfaction.
