    Best place to find warshrike?

Hey everybody :). I was just wondering about maknig a throw barb using two etheral of these. Now after what I know it is 1/20 that should be ethereal so if I find 40 of these then 2 should be ethereal. Now to my question:
Where is the best place to find this weapon?

Edit: Warshrike = unique winged dagger (elite throwing knife)

Well according to ATMA's drop calculator, Hell Baal has the greatest odds of dropping one (1:2631), then Diablo (1:3015). Regular monsters need to be at least level 83 to drop one (1:2,668,843).

Just do a ton of Meph runs and it will drop for you ... eventually. Plus you will get decent uniques along the way. You can do Meph (especially if you play single player with a static map) way faster than Baal.

Oh, I guess that information would have been usefull ;). I used 0%. I suggest you download ATMA at http://diabloii.net/~atma then you will be able to find the answers for all your drop questions for most versions and any MF% you want.

I suggest you hit the trade forums and see if you can pick some up there ;)

Probably a LOT faster than trying to hunt for them yourself.

I honestly have no clue. Never traded for 'em.

Considering they're not that commonly used in a build, you might have a harder time getting a hold of them than affording them...

Just checked on Europe standard... regular ones were around 3-5 PGems...

Of course, it varies from realm to realm and whether it's HC or not and whether they're eth, but at least it gives me the idea that you wouldn't be shelling out several high runes to get a hold of one ;)

hmm then I just don't understand why people doesn't use those in eht form for pvp in stead of lacerators for the 3.5 fpa attack with lvl 20 frenzy and 30% IAS :p And you could even go War/Lace both ethereal with lvl 20 frenzy and 42% IAS and get 3.5 fpa attack ^^ but after what you're saying then I have to go find one on the trade forum :D I'm Europe too ^^

Probably the open wounds chance. Open Wounds is held in high regard, but you could always do a full damage comparison and see what develops.
