Best non-gear based PvM-build?

Greetings,

Simply wondering whats the "best"/most efficient build for a PvM(baal-, diablo runs etc) ladder build out there. Thinking here of a build which depends least on gear.

Maybe the differences aren't that big between a "poormans build" or a regular?

FC Druid, all you need is a handful of shaels and a weapon with six sockets.

You have lots of shaels so you must want to hit real fast. The weapon has to be a phase blade.

any 6 socket wep would work, but phase blade is what is sought after for end game
