while not necessarily a MF spot,you might run through the flayer jungle and the great marsh looking for skill charms. Grand charms found there (level 50 areas) have the greatest chance of +1 skills and are the best candidates for re-rolling with the cube to produce a skill charm.
other spots to magic find are places with high monster density like chaos sanctuary and WSK, but you'd be doing those on boss runs anyway.

When starting out at this stage of the ladder season, there vare people who have dozens of mules full of stuff which you would love to have, but which have become uninteresting for them. I would do nightmare Countess for crafting and Spirit runes. Also make Stealth, Rhyme, Spirit (in a sword) and Insight (for the act 2 merc) from the runes you found. The Countess in nightmare isn't any worse with the runes she can drop than in hell mode. Apart from that Andy+Meph+Baal+Travincal, as well as crowded areas for pgems, like Chaos Sanctuary, cows etc.

No, you can't. Well OK, *I* can't :azn:... respectively I don't have the patience. I'm soloing the game with each of my characters, however, but just not untwinked.
There are a couple of scenarios where getting the first corpse is a huge problem and a few with PI/FIs, as well as the challenge of getting past normal Diablo while wearing no equipment. You can certainly circumvent that by starting a new game in case of problems or by doing lots of XP runs somewhere, but to be honest, that's somehow cheating as well, at least with respect to the standards which "naked players" usually apply.
You can certainly solo the game when *starting* with an untwinked summoner without too much skill, however.

Lol, yea I have been doing Countness a lot. I can't get a perfect Spirit. I have rolled at least 10 times.... And Hel is so hard to find...

I suggest not waste resources with rolling up a 35% Spirit as long as you cannot do better than MFing in nightmare. Rich guys do it because they are too lazy to collect and mule the runes themselves and to sell the result on a market which is not available for you - because it involves obscenely high prices. If you are poor, then do what they don't want to bother for - and let them pay for it. The more the payment is like a trinket for them, the better for you, as they will part of it more easily then.
If you really need 35% (e.g. to reach a certain breakpoint), better sell the runes and buy one, that's cheaper on average and it involves less randomness. Maybe you roll up one yourself the very next time, but chances are high that you won't. A bird in your habd is better than 2 in the bush. I for myself only reroll as many Spirits as I can find Hel runes while selling all the rest.
In general, you should concentrate on items with high preformance/price ratios first and later buy the other stuff. Cheap and good MF sorc gear: Tarnhelm/ptopaz helm, Spirit sword with average FCR/Ali Baba/Wizardspike/Occy, Lidless, Viper/Skuller's/Wealth/ptopaz armor, Goldwrap, rare boots, average Nagelrings
Later (sorc): Tal's set (rare jewel with something useful in the orb, ptopazes in helm and armor), 35% Spirit, 2x 30% Nagelring, Magefists, Wartravellers, Ali Baba+Rhyme in the switch, skillers+gheeds+torch+anni+mf charms+res charms in the inventory.
