Best item to gamble?

If you find yourself with mass game gold, what do you spend it on? If you spend it on gambling, what do you gamble? Rings, amulets, or something else? Just made a goldfind barb, trying to spend my money wisely :p

I go afer ring, ammys, cornet/circlets and the occasional sword to see if i can get real lucky

Rings, and when I get a level 93+ character, amulets for crafting. Circlets/coronets are a little outside my price range. I also gamble for belts when I craft blood belts.

coronets. i'd gamble circlets seeing as they're cheaper, but i have no 93+ chars, and am too lazy to get one lol. Curious though, somebody mentioned lvling via ubers. Would this be a quicker way to get 93 compared to baal runs?

edit: the 93+ thing is to do with gambling and what lvl mods you can get. the higher your lvl the higher the mods you can get from gambling (factoring in item lvl mods too). hopefully somebody will explain this better than i can lol

For best result you should use clvl 95+ because: gramble ilvl = clvl (-5 to +4)
. And craft amulet need 90+ ilvl to get +2 to class skill.( such as +2 barb etc.)
Not exactly - the craft level is based on a function of your character's level AND the amulet's level.

The amulet's level, when gambled, will be as noted above, -5/+4 levels from yours. Assuming a minimum roll, that's a level ** amulet when crafting with a level 93 char. Now, the function used here is :

1/2 amulet's level (rounded down) + 1/2 character's level (rounded down)

This means, in this case, it's 44 + 46, which = 90, the minimum required level for the +2 class skill mod. level 93 is the minimum level for a 100% chance at having the +2 class skill mod available.

Well my goldfind barb (currently lvl 87) gambles for rings and coronets/circlets as (like mentioned above) he lacks the level to reliable get +2 skill ammy's. Swords/Axe's/most weapons seem a waste of time to gamble as, with out being ethereal, rares can't match runewords and gambles never spawn ethereal (I'm 99% sure on this, anyone care to confirm?). Gloves and belts are only useful for crafting as rares are outclassed by the automods u can get on crafts. Options do exist for gambling nice rare tri-res boots, fool's mod claw's and at a long shot powerful rare bows.

I gamble for:
Coronets-(gambled a +3 fire -25 dr)
rings-(some nice fcr+str+mods)
shields-(only the monarch,dragon-shield,kite-shield type..i dream of a JMOD)
amulets-(i need the +3fire -25dr amu appropriate to my circlet):grin:

I gamble stuff depending on my char level. As long as I´m in the early 80ies or lower, I go for Boots, Belts and Gloves and Rings. In the later 80ies I go for Coronets and in the 90ies I go for Amus.
