best gear to keep in stash for max resist.

I was thinking besides using GA to get max resist how about other gear since enigma seems to something we don't want to part.


Let me start and please put input as this may be of value to other pallys.


Fire = Hotspurs seems to be the best for this spot offers 15 max fire resist and 50% fire resist.

Lighting = Thunder Gods Warbelt seems to be the best single item for lighting offering 10% max light resist and 20% absorb.

Cold = Snowclash with 15% max cold resist and absorb you can't go wrong in the stash for blizzard sorcs.

Poison = I guess this is a toss up but I do like Andrials Visage that offers huge poison resist, 10% max poision resist. I don't know if I would socket Tal rune or Gul rune. What do you guys think?

If there is alternative gear that is better please speak up!!! :D

Chains of Honor, Maras amulet, and HoZ with a pdiamond should keep your resists high. If you need any additional, just put on the equipment for that particular element (snowclash - cold, andy visage - psn, etc) but it shouldn't be more than a few charms can handle.

Well first of all it depends where you duel: Pubs or Private dueling since both allow different resist/absorb rules.

Fire: Hotspurs are the best choice. You almost sacrifice nothing just depends what boots you wear. Adding Dwarfs/Rising Sun is good choice too for pubs.

Lightning: Tgods is the ultimate choice for this. If you need more you might as well wear Lo gear in shield/helm or wear 1-2 20% wisp.

Cold: If you wear snowclash be sure you have the stacked resist to keep 90% cold resist becuase of cold mastery otherwise its pointless. You might as well use 1-2 ravens with it if you pub.

Posion: Ive never really had a problem with posion. Some of Death's set items are really good choice but since most pals have cleansing, posion never really bothers me.

Most Pal duelers are tweaked to the max...

so they will lose a overall of 40+str/40+dex/50+life/70+allresist(that is only for semi-godly gears...not talking about the perfect boots/ammy combo here) if they choose to go with either waterwalk, hotspur or rising sun...

T-God, Dwarf , Wisp are really the only options...

a good combo that go with them is CoA 2 socket + 4socket of deflection +T-God+Raven Frost + dwarf star...

6 socket for your Lo, Ohm , etc...

so that is, 85/85/90/75, or 90/85/85/75 or whatever you desire with tri-absorb from raven, dwarf and T-god and you still have the ammy/boots slots to tweak your stats for maximum Vitality.\


another would be instead of using 4 socket shield use BlackOak, then you have another ring slot for either dwarf/wisp/raven depends on the situation.

well i use:
fire - hotspur is enough.
lit - vs. v/ts, i use tgods/p topaz hoz/soul spur (47% lr) lo shako. thats usually enough (with 10 points into Resist Lit for extra 5% max resist) trappers/lit sorc=t god.
cold - ugly but fun 1.10 dual-thul griz corona and one raven works wonders. never really had a need for snowclash but its useful.
and to be completely rude keep 4 p saph/topaz shields handy :thumbsup:

Lol before I got a load of life/all resist charms in my inventory, I used to carry a 3 ort and a 3 thul helm with +39 or so life... Not only does it give you a quick 90 light or cold resist, it looks sexy ;)
