Only have D2C, does anyone else need basic courses in understanding, or an in depth look at critical discourse analysis? ;)

Sorry for the Mix-up.
I have D2 installed, but no LOD, and Version 1.10. I was asking, because all of the guides I read are for LOD, and basically say. "Dont wory about your skill levels too much, because +skill items will take care of it", and we all know how many +skill items there are in D2C...

Gosh, I miss LOD......

i feel ya...i lost my disc for a while....had to play online classic. do you know how many clasic legit players there are on b.net...four to be exact. ahh but remember teh days of the o so famous soul scratch..before an ss was a stormsheild.

Well, Im extatic right now, because Ive just confirmed that Mace Mastery does indeed work on staff class weapons!!!!
For weeks I have tried to figure out how to get my Staff Spinning barb build to work, but have put it off because the damage was just to low. Yeah, the damage s still going to be low, but I can at least make it more enjoyable.
Anyone got any tips/suggestions for my staff-spinning barb, given my game setup?

All you need is a ribcracker, and then the runes to upgrade it. 50% CB just rocks everything. Just make sure to socket it with a shael rune when you upgrade it so its hits the -60 WW bp (weapon speed [10] - total weapon IAS [70] = -60) It also has awesome average damage. You of course could get a hold of an ethereal zod'd upgraded one and screw the last BP. One problem though is that it has a range of TWO, meaing you get far less hits in compared to a range 5 weapon. Check out the barb FAQ is the pull down menus at the top for more info on WW.

D2classic, classic, classic... ;)

I have no idea at all how to play a staff baba. IIRC staves can't even get ED as a modifier on them, or is it different back in classic? Good luck... :D

Sadly I think 1.10 ruined Classic, Immunes are just not a lot of fun, when you dont have a lot of 1 + Items and skillers. Your secondary skills are far too weak to any real damage, and all in all it just isnt worth it.

I can only come up with a few builds that are hell viable. The rest fall short due to Immunes. It is a lot more fun to MP, though.
