If you check the defense bonusses a full IK set gets and the fact damage reduce is not super high, it seems bezerkers are not a good option for IK barbs.

The way Whirlwind is 'bugged' now and the weapon range is rather short (not stopping the animation properly when frozen and not allowing to drink pots immediately) rules whirl out for me (since I play hardcore, almost died due to this slack of blizz, why did they ruin whirl).

Not many options left I guess. And I sure hate conc barbs personally, they seem the most boring melee option out there.

I always wondered why blizzard never added any mods to all those other sets that serious lack now in 1.10. Slackers.

Whirl by a mile for me.

Range bug? What range bug? Tell it to all the dead monsters in my wake.

    Thats not what I said.

If you whirl and get frozen somehow along the way from cold attack, your whirl stays on about 1 to 2 seconds after you stopped. The animation shows this. Bug or not, this is deadly in HC since you cant caff a potion when needed during the whirl and about 2 few seconds after the whirl when affected by cold.

Additionally the range of a Orge Maul is rather short for a good whirl weapon, hence my reasoning.

I would say whirlwind! It may not be the best for HC, but it is very powerful. I have a level 86 IK set barb who can destroy everything with ease. Most monsters will fall in just one or two whirls, and the large chance of crushing blow makes short work of bosses. Only iron maiden and certain gloam boss packs can kill him. It's also great fun.

i vote concentration, the defense bonus from conc and the high life from BO will make up for the lack of a shield in this build, your resits come from NR and the set bonusses... and the bonusses from the maul, all that sweet elemental damage adds alot of potential to a conc IK barb IMO

You were never able to drink any pots while in WW-Animation,just by the way.

True but you could drink them IMMEDIATELY after. Now you cant at times, takes 2 seconds sometimes to 'unfreeze' from the whirl. And thats rediculous. BAH at blizzard for that one.
