I don't know if there is a "best" for both.
Also not sure how you mess up Andariel...you have to talk to Warriv in that game to complete the quest anyway, so how do you miss it? Log out after killing her?
I don't think any sorc does Meph better than Blizzard though.

do you think a fire sorc would be faster? andy has - 50 fire resis sure thats going to be a quick death for her just need to tank the fallens which are fire immune.
For meph we can moat him with meteor and fire baller...
A blizzer can kill the fallens not sure how long it takes to kill andy. Very effective at meph just blizzard him...
man i dunno which is better i think both requires a merc to tank fallen mayb btw how dus the bugged quest works? im hearing alot of things like first kill andy then enter the tp and talk to Warriv then enter act 2... dont u get the quest done for andy? and is the quest drops still activated?

kill andy then talk to warriv before you leave the game (dont have to go to act 2 just talk to him) if you leave the game without talking to warriv then andy isnt bugged.
tanking fallen isnt a problem because well they are fallen.
seems meteor/orb build is best just for the fire aspect against andy

It's all about versatility...I've found that if you want to do Meph only, and never anything else...do Blizzard...but if you want to actually play other parts of the game you will probably want to dual-tree.
The Fallen? I always kill them before I creep up to where Andariel notices me, so they aren't even a part of the equation.

i would think blizz/fireball would do too little dmg to kill anything fast...
in my opinion pure blizz sorc will kill things faster
I say that because I have both meteorber and pure blizz sorc
the first one has lvl 37 fireball that does 11k dmg and meteor that does 20k dmg.
my blizz sorc carries about 700mf (yeah... diminishing return... i am an idiot) so it only does about 4k blizz dmg.
currently both can kill meph and andy with no prob...
however if i swap my gear and make my blizz lvl36 (since magefist won't be in effect) it will kill andy in pretty much in one blizzard casting.

i made a meteorb sorc to kill those 2 bosses only.
i tele down to andy, tele right next to her and toast her face with 1 meteor + lots of fireballs, 1 antidote makes it easy to live thru the dmg
then i tele to meph and "bug" him so he stands still and dosent fire spell hand has to tank ALL meteors
great succes
