Best build for mfing pits?

So I was wondering what would be the best build for mfing the pits and other NON boss locations? I was thinking of doing a fireball / orb sorc with emphasis on orb since the - cold mastery + infinity would pretty much make any monster a 1hit kill with orb in hell, specifically in the pits. Or Ami wrong about that? Expensive gear is not a problem. And when I say "best" i mean pure killing speed, MF is optional. My thanks in advance.

if you have infinity then imo lightning sorc is the fastest killing sorc there is

So orb with max mastery and infinity would kill slower than a max light sorc with infinity and crecent?

Much slower. Infinity will almost never break Cold Immunities if I remember correctly, while it will almost always break Lightning Immunities.

that is right. Any normal monster in the pits will have its light imunity broken, but not its cold imunity.

I believe a full light sorc with a infinity will be the best option. It will one hit ko anything on pits. for max killing speed use the infinity yourself and get some nice itens to reach the 117 BP (griffons, vipermagi, 20fcr ammy, 2 fcr rings, arachs, magefist/trangs)

what about a pure fire sorc...? Still pretty good killing speed with an infinity? I'd do about 12k base dmg, then with infinity would almost double that. Good idea?

Fallen is fire imune, you would need a beckup skill, infinity does not break its imunitie.

* Fallens are fire immune
* Dark stalkers & skeletons are cold immune
* Dark rangers are lightning immune

Since it seems dark rangers are the rarest of these monsters, lightning with ability to break immunities would work very well.

The biggest issue is alot of people wont make that much money in less then a month in the Pits to pay off the cost of Infinity

Infinity ES Nova Sorc is very effective imo. It teles fast, kills fast, more effective AOE den lightning. Breaks lightning immunes.

I kill pits with no problems using a basic mf meteorb set up. have a total of 17 in cold mastery and 33 in orb. i 1shot anything in there with orb and if there cold imune i fireball makes verry short work of them. have a holy freaz merc just for CC and i can run it extreamly quick with no issues and still have realy high mf.

Even though you are obviously asking for a sorceress build, I would like to mention that there are no poison immune monsters in the pits

I have been regularly MF-ing Pits with a lightning sorc and half the time I don't see any Dark Rangers. The only problems arise when Dark Ranger bosses spawn and they have Cursed or Extra Strong. I don't have Infinity, but the killing speed if good, my merc can kill most lightning immunes very fast. Plus, if he has some MF gear too you can use that to your advantage!

Seeing as you have Infinity, you'll have absolutely no problems clearing The Pit in no time.

Run AT instead? Same area lvl. Just make a Blizzsorc and you'll tear anything apart there. No cold immunes except maybe a random boss or two.

But pits are a lot faster to get too.

And pits has more boss pacts and biger groups and its quicker to run more open for orb to own everything.
