Best bow for Brand, Ice and Wrath runewords!

Hi!

I was wondering which bow is best for Brand, Ice and Wrath? Is it GMB or MB?

ice best on: mb
wrath where you need that for its quite expensive and not quite useful imo
brand: for wich ama is this? mb is best for speed and gmb best for dmg same is for ice you know my frostmaiden (if you like you may see her~~)

if you like *richo999 i play on mostly

and for what builds they are cause i did some research at brand and ice i use~~

Just recently I did some testing with Brand MB (simulated in single player) and it didn't work so well. Even with Marrows, the damage in 8pl wasn't good and due to low damage it was hard to cover leeching also. A standard setup with 1 dual leech ring failed to provide enough leech (unless Strafe was used all the time).

Then I tried it with Brand GMB and it looked better damagewise, but then I needed 95% ias and Faith 13+ on merc for full functionality. The merc is kinda stupid also so she often stays somewhere behind, and I lose the aura and with it speed.

Also Brand really works well only when Strafe is used. With multishot bonespears rarely even trigger. Kind of expected more from the build but didn't get that much. My other (realm) bowzon with Faith GMB and Might merc with Pride does things a lot faster than Brand-zon (simulated in singleplayer).

Too bad really, and there's always a possibility you'll get a terrible roll on your Brand, further reducing usefulness. And even with Brand - PIs remain a problem. You can't leech from PI's so you can't Strafe them forever and that 650 damage dealt by bonespears doesn't really mean much in 8pl environment.

so question, based on the ICE runeword and to mr. arucard or atleast that avatar looks like him. How would i build her skills, and was ure build for pvm or pvp? and im aimiin more for pvm just for fun, was she viable all thru hell and how bad are cold immunes to her? how does she over come them. And ICE MB > then ICE GMb in this case? i have this obsession with auras, and i always loved HF so if i can make a viable ama wit ICE im gonna do it full heartly. AND i just read the post but its really late and i forgot if you talked about merc for a ICE ama, would it be a might merc with maybe pride or something to that effect, although pride is quite pricey and to bad it doesnt get ed but i guess concentrate + might is alot already lol. thanks for the time and inputs ;D. I need help wit a zon build, and was always curious about ICE cause i liked the mods on the bow, but my friend was sayin it has quite low ed possibilities

From what richo told me MB is the bow for Ice! And a IceAma or Frostmaiden gets her damage from FA/CA + Bowskillers! But you need a merc using infinity! Then it will be a lot easier!

For ICE matri is the best, since you'll be throwing spells at enemies and that needs to be done as fast as possible. Also you'll likely be using Infinity on merc, so Faith merc can't be used to compensate for slower speed on GMB which is another plus point for MB. With Strafe you shouldn't have problems with mana.

i got a name my friend (the name of hellsin = alucard), and i had made little mistake with making ICE in gmb what is not that bad as she still kills like hell, and there is a frost maiden guide wich i not used but heres my build (this gonna be my rebuild):

bow skills:
cold arrow: lvl 20
frost arrow: lvl 20 (main skills)
strafe: lvl 1 (just base you get enough skills from skillers)
prequisete: 4 points

passive skills:
dodge: enough points for 6x dodge (with +skills)
avoid: enough points for 6x avoid (with +skills)
evade: enough points for 6x evade (with +skills)
criticail strike: lvl 1 (more then enough with my build i get already 6x)
penetrate: lvl 20 (the more AR the more chance to hit)
pierce: enough points to take a 6x-7x pierce (you gonna lub this when youre cowing)
valkyrie: i would spend the rest in here for a good tank

stats: 465 points avaiblae
strenght: 111 (with +strenght from all for coh wire fleece)
dexerity: 200 points
vitality: the rest
energy: base

gear:
weapon: Ice MB (for remake)
armor: coh (wire fleece for style)
belt: nosferatu coil
rings: dual raven frost (i am thinking of 1* dual leech ring with resist)
amulet: highlords
gloves: 20 ias Kb 3% ml (i got this but 2 bow, 20 ias KB dual leech is ultimate option)
boots: WT!
switch: cta what else
helm: ama circlet +2 ama 30 frw dual leech (got 5% ML and 8%LL) 10 resist (this is the circlet i have still open sox~~)

this is the gear i use or gonna use, the stats and skills will be like this and my frostmaiden will be PERFECTO!

I would use razortail to get your pierce up too 100% and put a 15% ias jewel in your circlet if you needed the ias from nos

its amazing how much more effective light fury is with 100% so its probably the same with fa.

eh.... i would not say that to hard you got a frostmaiden with that gear?

cause then youre playing wrong i can do EASY solo hell (pitruns, diarun, cows, baalrun) in 8 player game without much efford as the resist does not got higher so only need more arrows~~ as they wont get even near to me as i got a tanking merc and tank valkyrie, first try then give comment

i have a superior shadow bow /w 4os + 12 E dmg

do you guys think is wise to use it to make a rw such as brand, ice or wrath?

thats only suitable for a merc and most pple make a RW for a merc (act 1 bow) on a as fast and best dmg bow (most pple choose crusader though for high dmg as they only need aura from merc)

but wrath ice or brand are not realy for a merc only faith is good for that...
