Thanks man, you certainly helped, and one more question, what runeword is best for BvBer, inserted in Zerk axe?Halciet said:Use the search function.
Critical strike thing is total BS, swords and axes have the same CS rate with mastery; they might have been referring to Death Cleaver, which has a high DS rate. Axes are better than swords because the berserker axe has the best average 1h damage of any weapon in relation to it's speed, has low requirements, hit the max range of a 1h weapon, can get 6 sockets, can be used in the blood recipe, has nice uniques, and can be used in every important runeword available. The low base speed also makes it easier to hit breakpoints with "normal swing" attacks (conc, berserk, stun, bash), and easier to hit the minimums for whirlwind.
I was thinking here, what if I do like this:Halciet said:Death Cleaver is a very nice budget weapon (expensive if you get an eth one), but most people still take eBotD/Grief over it.
But why, it is the same +50% damage.Halciet said:I believe it caps out at 95, technically, but either way, people generally find eBotD to be superior, if I recall correctly. A non-eth DC with Ohm wouldn't be as powerful as an eth one with Zod, if you could manage it.
I didn't know that difference is so huge, thank you again, you helped a lot again.Halciet said:No, eth damage bonus applies before all other damage bonuses, making it do a good deal more.
Example: weapon that does 100 base damage, and we'll apply 500% ed.
Weapon with Ohm = 550% damage; 100 * 6.5 = 650 damage
Eth version of the weapon; 100 * 1.5 = 150; 150 * 6 = 900 damage.
I dont think there is a cap on DS.Well damage wise-BOTDvscleaver depends on your ammy,if you use angelics eth Cleaver is superior,if you use wrath botd is.Halciet said:I believe it caps out at 95, technically, but either way, people generally find eBotD to be superior, if I recall correctly.
