    Best 3-character combo?

Me and my friends have this thing where we all make untwinked chars and play them ONLY with each other, all through hell.

our last idea was a skelliemancer with two hammerdins, one hammerdin used conc and the other hammerdin used fanat. they would both share the conc and have big damage (simply being hammerdins) and my skels had fanat, conc, might, and amp damage to use to plow through.

it was fun, but hammerdins and skelemancers DO get boring after a while

anyone else have a fun idea that we should try? we're thinking of three sorcs, one of each tree. i wanted to do meleemancer, melee sorc, and a meleezon, but they gave it the thumbs down :(

    feel free to discuss builds

    1)Summoner/Commando (main killer)
2)Conc or WW Barb (tank, BO, BC, Shout)
    3)Anything you want

Seriously though...best 3 team would be:

1-summoner(doesn't have to be a commando...though perfered with beast)
    2-dream pally(for conviction)...or even holy shock pally
3 Either wolf or bear using HoW

*Summoners merc could have a pride weapon for concentration.

    Reason why:

Summoner is the ultimate tank...and can handle most situations by himself really.

Dream pally or holy shock pally for conviction...makes it easier for everyone in the party to do damage and is more helpful for mages.

Wolf or bear to be a secondary tank...specially the bear...if you go with bear get him a act2 norm defense merc to be a true tank.

    There you og,

I agree with the guys somewhat but if i had a 3 player team i like the idea of:

    1) Summoner necro with skellies, mages and revives (1 pt into Lower Resist)
    2) Fire/Lightning or even Enchantress melee sorc
    3) Fanatic Zealot (using shaffers or stormlash for static) with 'Passion' cryptic on switch for berserk

If cost isn't a problem then you culd have mercs with Infinity, Pride and Insight hehe Any barb with BO/Shout, Druid with Oak or HOW would be a great party member too :D Or even Melee (Claw attack, WW)/Traps Assasin would do too.

Of course, the last few suggestions don't go very well with the "untwinked" theme that the thread starter mentioned...

Whoey! I also only buy Waheeds, got two lvl98 Waheeds from 1.09 too :p
Wonder why some people tend to like Waheeds more than others. (I know at least one other person that also does that way)

    grml....

In my opinion the party should be:

1)Overlord Nec with with a merc who also has pretty, flashy auras.
2)Paladin with lots of pretty, flashy auras and HoW charges with a merc who has Insight.
3)Bard Barb with a few pretty flashy auras with a merc who has Infinity.

Basicaly Lots of minions + lots of auras=lots of ownage.

He says theyre playing untwinked together so highend stuff is probably useless to mention. And he already did a pala+summoner team before so thats out of the question as well.

I think a 3 sorc party would be pretty cool and viable. Untwinked melee chars are harder to play with so just about any casters will work well together as long as the party have access to different elemental attacks.
As I see it you can have a variety of mixtures between fire/cold/lightning sorce, windruid, bonemancer, venomancer, trapper (fire could also work since it includes death sentry), furyzon, FAzon and some more.

A team of melee chars could work but it takes more work I think. A nice team would be a barb (providing war cries), paladins (auras) or/and druids (spirit pets).

I always hire the highest lvl I can find, or something with a z in it :uhhuh:

with our last choice we found out that having two of the exact same chars made it very difficult, because they always needed the same gear (sapphires for mana, mana adding jewelry/helms/armors, etc) so we decided we probably couldn't do the tri-sorc build too well. the barb/druid/pally idea sounds fun, i think that's what we'll end up doing :D

    thanks for the replies

A untwinked summoner is the easiest build to make...I only used pride runeword as a example to get concentration instead of having a pally.

A untwinked shockadin is also easy...and is effective for both norm and nm in general...any with the use of conviction...makes it that much easier for mages and bear/wolf as well.

I suggested aeither bear of wolf...mainly for another tank like a bear is...and HoW makes skeleton that more effective overall.

    My .2

Ok first of all, Azrael and Emelio are the coolest names. Second of all- this is untwinked!! So getting pride, beast, and two dreams probably ain't gonna happen. My suggestion? (I really like this one by the way)

    -Blizzard Sorc
    -Avenger Paladin/Whirlwind Barb
    -Lightning Trapper

The blizz sorc will have great damage, especially if you pick an avenger. If you pick a barb, he will boost the party's life a lot! And the lightning trapper will provide another element and AMAZING crowd control. Cloak of shadows will be so nice for the blizzard sorc, and mind blast for stunning for the barb!

It's a pretty good team, and the two casters are very easy untwinked, even solo. Also, they all are different classes so you won't be fighting over items, and they are types of characters you haven't played yet, plus they are all very safe together. (I think everything is safe with cloak of shadows :))

3x necros with 20 points spended in skelies, mages and revives? :D That would be like 50-70 monsters with enough + skills and a golem.

Yes. The conviction will help break most/some immunities for the sorc and assassin and will also greatly help their damage.

    Summoner
    Enchantress
    Fanat Zealer

    Maybe?

Or no... 3x Hammerdins would kick ALL PvM ass and MORE!
