That's the thing though, that's far from a ricer in my eyes. Rice in my eyes is body kits, ugly wings, street glow, (the way my car USED to be). That car is more JDM (Japan Domestic Motors). Meaning it has parts OEM (Original Equipment Manufacture) parts on it that come directly from Japan.Dirty_Zulu said:It's decent. Though I am not thrilled about an econo-box being dressed up in more plastics. But it's nicely done.
I think around here the ricer days almost over. Much like the low rider trucks. People look at you funny if you still have one.
Yeah man, he has A LOT of engine work done to it. He wouldn't let me take pictures of the motor thoughg00tch said:That is clean as hell! Props! I'm still working on my 03 ex.
Wow, your just knocking everything aren't you? It's out of personal preference. Sure, Legends are nice, but I rather have a Civic/Integra they're just more appealing to me. Anyone can buy a nice car, but not everyone wants to put money into a car to make it nice.Dirty_Zulu said:Turbo, 'high-quality' parts, Mugen, JDM, OEM, etc.; with the cost of those why not just buy a higher model?
I once had a bud who spent $15k on an Acura Integra and spend $10k on rice. Why not just buy V6 Acura Legend with leather, sun roof, power seats, mirrors, etc... And it's 230 hp. His was 140hp+gain from fart cannon which in no way could match the V6's mid range hp and torque.
Maybe you can explain the psychology of riceology.
Yes, 'London' is me. That 'black hood' is actually a material called 'carbon fiber' it's a very lightweight and strong material. It's actually REALLY shiny up close. Most people leave them black to show off their hood, or because they choose not to get it painted out of costs.Steel_Avatar said:I'm not the biggest proponent of modifying cars like that, but I do like the blue. I am curious, though, as to why it seems very common to paint the hood an ugly black, while the rest of the car is a nice glossy blue. To me it kind of destroys the nice paint job on the rest of the car.
To each his own though. And forgive me for being stupid, and totally out of touch, but are you and London one and the same?
And it's even appealing to the haters, how cute.toader said:I normally hate stupid crap like that....but that is indeed a nice looking car.
It's clean man. I don't know about you, but I don't see very many boosted/JDM/clean Civics around my area.Anakha1 said:It looks like... a civic. Like every other civic around here, too.
No offence man, but I don't see what's special or different about it.
Oh and no offence at all, everyone has their own opinions. I just wanted to share it with everyone.Anakha1 said:It looks like... a civic. Like every other civic around here, too.

Hehe, my thoughts exactly.Anakha1 said:It looks like... a civic. Like every other civic around here, too.

Well that was sure rude. I could knock your hobbies, but that would be immature.5Ws said:Hehe, my thoughts exactly.
From the picture, all I can see is a flashy, non-practical, screwed up Civic, with a douche-bag as its owner, sorry, I hate people who modify cars.
