Oak Sage / Heart Of Wolverine: 20
Grizzly:20
Rabies:20

that's about 65 skills points so lots to play around with... If you can get a carrion wind for the poison creeper synergy bug...The remaining skills can be used to put points in dire wolves for stronger summons (probably not the way to go)...getting a backup elemental skill (maybe fissure..)...get cyclone armor for added protection. Oak Sage or Heart of wolverine is a difficult choice... I'd go with Oak because I like massive life (who doesn't) but HOW could be very useful to add to your minions damage and enable you to hit better with your rabies. Alternatively you could also make a hunter... a druid with a bow+summons, that would also free up some more skills to get really good damage out of an elemental skill. As for gear... pretty much standard caster gear.. Heart Of The Oak flail, Chains Of Honour/Enigma, Shako, Arachnid Mesh.. etc... then on switch maybe a long range and fast weapon to safely deliver rabies from behind your summons...

You should also definitely get a might mercenary as he will boost the damage of your summons and himself... some of the runewords that grants auras would also be very sweet... Beast & Pride would be very excellent.

If you really plan on using rabies then the best options to get the most damage both physical and poison would be to max rabies, griz, HoW and werewolf the rest into lycan. With a might merc and a carrion ring for the free rabies synergy you end up with a decent character.

I'm just wondering if maxing werewolf and lycanthropy is necessary... If you have enough +skills even 1 point werewolf would give enough increased attack speed to max your attack rate with a very high speed weapon...Is this correct... if so then the "only" advantage is the attack rating (rabies also gives attack rating, while very nice can be found other places (angelics, ravenfrost, charms). Also the life bonus from Lycanthropy is very nice but not crucial... the duration should be fine with the amount of +skills you can get from gear... maybe some prebuffing... I still think it would be viable to get a backup elemental skill...Maybe I just feel that a summon druid should be geared more towards a caster setup than a melee setup. Also a weapon with Ignores Target Defence would do wonders.
