Beast runeword.

Standard werewolf wanting to use a Beast One-handed weapon.

I'm thinking perhaps a Berserker Axe...am I far off on this one?

the fanatacism will be nice, and you will get the full +3 from lycanth if im not mistaken, but if you can afford a beast runeword ( what are the ingredients again? ) why not swing for a doom zerker?

Ber + Tir + Um + Mal + Lum are the runes you need.

Doom requires a Cham rune, which is kinda hard to get. Ber is hard too but not as hard as a Cham. Besides...I personally prefer the fana aura over the holy freeze aura. :p

war spike might be better... look at the break points... BA has base of 0 war spike has base of -10...

i like war spike over BAs personally.

Go for Caddy, with Zerk or Ettin or SPike you would here this:

Runewords break really fast. Use a caddy. -10 Base speed and 70 Dur. Make your ort runes last! :thumbsup:

I just made a Beast caddy for my WB and i really like it. The max damage doesnt look so hot but you gotta consider how high the min damage is and the added ED you get from the Fanat aura. Also max sockets a Caddy can get is 5 so you can find a white one and just do the larzuc quest on it, but for zerk or spike you will need to find one with 5 sockets already.

I personally will never make another rune word weapon that
a) doesnt have indestructable mod
b) will be used as my main weapon

if it has indestructable mod i will use it ... if not i am only making it for a back up that will rarely be used. They do break to easy IMO, i have to repair mine after every baal run or it will break in the next one.(zerker)

Im actually thinking of remaking my pally b/c of how annoying this is.

This isnt really that big of a deal but I dont think that the lycanthropy skills on beast will add to an existing lycanthropy skill. Kind of like how call to arms doesnt add +6 to a barbs existing skill.

Lycanthropy might be diferent because it is a passive skill, but I was under the impression that a + to skill that does not specify class, i.e. any class recieves the skill, would create a separate skill from the existing one if used on a character that already has the skill from investing points in it, and could only be raised in skill level by + to all skills.

This is why the Call to Arms skills do not add to a barbarian's existing warcries but create a new skill at whatever the number of the skill on the cta was. This is at least how I thought it worked, however I could be wrong.

it would add full bonus because the max u can get from a non char specifice skill is +3 on that character

like +3 bo on a barb with CTA, while other chars get more

yah.... caddy might be a better choice actually..

whats important is to play around on the wereform IAS calculator... use the most powerfull weapon that allows you to reach the beset frame rate.

and beast rox... the fanat aura adds over 100 ED... so its actually over 400 ED on the weapon total.
