I had jokingly checked it out on my physical sin to see if it was maybe worth doing, but the problem is that you lose the ability to use any in-fight skills, as nothing can be cast but summons, and you can't use other cool attacks like tigerstrike or w/e. So as long as you can get yourself a serious regular attack, I'd say go for it, maybe help yourself out by carrying a serious shield along with your beast weap.

i took my physical ghost and slapped on a beast + 32% fcr spirit (102% fcr bp), and went to work. you can play like a kicker, except you have to tele/shift instead of just kicking.

He he... that was indeed awesome. Were you acctually swinging beast there? Interesting, since I always assumed that you should go for the mythical 100IAS Greater Talon of 2FPA.

Theres one at the amazonbasin by SSoG, which I'm following right now. Problem is, to truly get the 2FPA, ur physical dmg will stink, and ur leech will also stink, even with lifetap(I've built this in SP). To solve ur killing speed problem, u'll have to rely on elemental dmg. This aint cookie cutter if u go the 2FPA, but its pretty fun. U could use chaos runic talons and do more dmg and leech more, but it totally defeats the purpose of bearsin(2FPA).

well, i used the beast to swing in the duels because i needed to be able to shift in/out very quickly, as the attacks needed to come almost instantly after i teled on them, or the stun would break. i tried switching to claws after i shifted before i attacked, but the delay was too long.
but even with beast, the attacks are pretty fast :tongue:

What are the frames you get on a generic Ghost with a beast? In a War Spike I assume?
Then what IAS are you packing? Just 15 from your hat or did you use a highlords too?
I am tempted to mess around with it.

i swapped the w/s from my summon druid on a whim, so i used a zerker beast. i never took the time to calculate the framerates.
