A group of three wizards, by chance?
Nope, there was a barbarian in there as well holding the front lines, with a wizard at the back. I think it was back when the unburied creatures were first noticed.

Edit: http://diablo.incgamers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=711435

It was my first observation too a few months ago, when I first saw them. The quality of the videos don't give room to much more. But I did appreciate the smooth animation and game flow.

Another thing I noticed was the seemingly relaxed players and how controls didn't seem to get in their way. No one was on the verge of contracting carpal tunnel.
Indeed. At least it allows Blizzard to focus more on content and other game-enhancing plans

What I really want to know is how the teleport skill works. Was it even available in the demo?
Check out http://www.diablowiki.net/Teleport if you haven't already. I'm not sure about the demos so perhaps someone who has played one will be able to shed some light, but it seems like it'll be abit slower compared to D2 (ie, no more zipping through an area with enough FCR possibly) and not as high a range, but otherwise similar. I don't remember anything about whether it had a same line of sight limitation either, unlike it's D2 counterpart.

There was a video in which the wizard was teleporting then stopped to open a door. This lead many people to believe that you could no longer warp through walls/doors.

I just wanted to know if what many people have assumed was true.

I am not too worried about the longer cast time because I imagine that there will be more then one way to speed it up. We not only have fcr increasing items but now we have runes and who knows what else they might have come up with that will allow you to twiqe cast times.

It makes sense to include fcr items from d2, but maybe there might be a skill which increase it too. and i thought i recalled somebody saying something like you couldn't go through walls, doors, etc. Could have just been a dream where they fix d2's rushing problem though....who knows.....

there's nothing illegal about posting videos or pictures of the monitors from blizzcon. no one there signed an NDA, and I don't believe the tickets had anything on them prohibiting dissemination of footage. There were signs on the machines in the press room saying not to take any photos or movies, and when people did anyway the (fairly lax) PR people in the room would ask you to stop. But they weren't impounding cameras or demanding video cards be erased or anything. I'm sure plenty more of that went on down in the main hall, where there were hundreds of machines and far fewer bliz people to watch and it was dark.

The issue for us is that we want to remain on friendly terms with blizzard, both since we get some perks (blizzcon tickets, beta slots, etc, many of which we give away to you guys) and since we've known a lot of people there for more than a decade, and since they're courtesy and professional with us, so we like to return the favor. especially when it's no skin off our backs.

Amen to that.

I wonder when we will get some new official media. I know Bashiok said "soon" in his one reply, but who knows how long that will be. Does Blizzard usually partake in E3? I always lose track of what developers show up at that, and it's not too far off.

Now that's a post that actually makes some sense ;). Aside from that... The gameplay indeed looks smooth. I can't wait for another gameplay movie to be released like the one from July last year. That one literally blew my mind.

they used to partake in E3 but decided they were a big enough company on their own and made WWI (or blizzcon...not sure it is 100% one of those two) and decide to show their own games and get more attention for themselves. Makes sense as they are a juggernaut.

I also cant wait for more videos. Loved everything ive seen so far and every video I have and will watch just make the hype that much more intense.

you know what was interesting to me? I just watched that video with the unburied, and didnt that demo happen like 3 months before the unburied monster update? I didnt hear anyone say 1 thing about it. Thats tight lips!
