Bashiok confirms no reset until 1 year

The false rumors about a reset this month have been proven false by Bashiok himself. As he states in the link resets will occur every 12 months not 6 months.

Whew, thank goodness.
That means I still have a few months left of using 3rd party programs to further my ladder fortunes.

Yes ... it won't be probably a reset this month, but i'm pretty sure that it will be in less than 6 months from now. Probably sometimes in the summer (9 months).

1 year is way too long and i'm pretty sure a new poll will be created.

I can't bring myself to care for another ladder reset unless Blizzard affords the means neccessary to ban all those ridiculous botting programs.

Seriously, 99% of all ladder games are either bot runs or trade games where the owners of said bots try to sell whatever crap they "found" for hrs.

Since the majority of public games are run by bots, players have altogether given up on communicating with each other. Most of the pub games I joined were completely silent, except for the occasional level 1 character joining to proclaim that "shop xxxx has reduced prices omgz plz buy!!11!".

That's nice. I'm playing an assassin who isn't cuite finished yet. It would be a shame if i couldn't finish her on the ladder so now i can. :thumbup:

That's great, now I can't play diablo for at least another 7-8 months without wasting my time!

Sigh, I'm glad they made this decision, I just wish they'd made it at the beginning of the ladder.
