1) I've been looking around the trading forums trying to find some sort of "chart" that will explain rune worth and item worth on USWest like this: http://www.rpgforums.net/showthread.php?t=291238

sadly thats for ladder, and it seems that nonladder is very different...

2) Well, if there are no chart type of a post for USWest nonladder, I have a lem and ko rune that i've picked up from rushing nm for forge. On nonladder are these worth anything at all? (well of course not for godlies, but can they be traded for anything decent?)

3) What's the highest rune that you can find in forge nm?
a) Does repairing the hellforge hammer before hitting the soulstone give better drops?

4) And lastly, does more magic find % give more chances of finding a rune, and/or chances of finding higher runes than a person with 0% magic find?

UM is the highest.

No, magic find has absolutely nothing to do with rune drops.

running the countess is best for runes. cows is good for gems

I don't play west, so I'm not immediately aware of any trade values guide for west NL, perhaps someone else knows.

Where's a good place to get low runes and regular/flawless gems,

Nightmare cows is an excellent place for this; the monsters are numerous and easy to kill for a high level character. Either use separate characters to open the portal and to kill, or be careful to leave the cow king alive.
