Back after so long...
I can remember the first time I played 1.09 on Bnet. It was back when in my country broadband was the stuff of very rich people and internet cafes, and that's where lots of my money as a highschool student went.
Then times moved on...highschool moved on. College came, I retook back my old passion, in 1.11. This time I had more friends playing, they were rich, and pro. And they liked me well enough to help me play this game without any hassle, giving me equipment and runes and stuff. Loved it. There really was one thing I enjoyed then, with my perfectly geared hammerdin: MF runs.
PVM was for me and that was it...a perfect HotO on a knout (wich I had been scammed into trading for a 39 HotO on a flail...it took me a month to realise it was the most profitable scam someone did to me.) Harlequin crest, enigma and everything else on a killing machine wich made farm games where people flocked to join. Then came the ladder reset and I took a break.
But my friends dragged me back in, and I wanted to try something new. But I couldn't stand the idea of a character that would have trouble soloing anything, so my friend instructed me to make a lightning sorc...and somehow gathered the mats for an infinity. It all came to that, and the highlight of my loot runs was a 17%/14% Griffon. Those were the times.
So now, after two ladder resets(one of them still incoming) I have returned. My disks are still in prime shape, i'm proud i have kept them so well. And I will use the time until the ladder reset to hone my skills with a char.
After some thinking, I came to this conclusion. I don't want to play another pally, and enigmas will be expensive after the wipe. Fishymancers seem both complicated to play and slow. And lightning sorcs just don't cut it. So...meteorb it is. Feel free to make suggestions. And point me to the classical meteorb guid(me sloth). I welcome them all. I really wouldn't have expected so many people to(still)be playing this game.
Edit: I seem to have entered too many games...how long is the lockout period blizz put on my account/connection for that? I was running Tristram.
