I was wondering what the difference in experience is per person in a 4 person and an 8 person baal run.

4 people in a game is the same as 8 people in a game when it comes to item drops, so I'm assuming that experience is the same...but not 100% sure.

It does, but AFAIK it maxes out at 4-5 players --- above that, the improvement is absolutely minimal.

So, if it's items you are after, a 4 player game is better than an 8 player game --- same item drops, but the monsters aren't as tough... so you get more kills in the same time, hence more items...

I'm pretty sure exp caps at 5 players and HP keeps increasing all the way to 8. Keep that in mind the next time you have 3 leechers in a baal game, no they are NOT giving anyone more exp as so many people seem to think.

Both exp and HP is calculated by (n + 1) / 2 so there is no cap except the 8 player one.

... so an 8-player game will give 9/5 = 1.8 times as much experience as a 4-player game.

Which, coincidentally, is the same as the ratio between Celsius degrees and Fahrenheit degrees.
