Baal Experience ! yo

Since theres alot analysys/discussions on item odds and stuff, I was wondering if theres a guide/etc on experiece gain. (ive been looking but couldnt find it)

Since I find many ppl baaling to gain high levels for duels etc, I was wondering how experience is affected if more ppl come into game and such. And I also realised the person who gets final blow killin baal gets more exp. Does anyone know by how much?

Don't be more than 5 levels lower than the level of the area you are visiting and with character level L1-24, don't be higher as well. From L93-94 on, Diablo and Baal themselves will provide the most XP. Until then, do Baal minion runs or kill monsters in L85 areas. For everything else, consult the following table. I forgot where a link to it is, so I repost it.

IIRC the table is not accurate for classic.

If you can get a rush all the way to Hell with a single digit character you can gain XP in a hurry. 5% of Act 5 Hell level critter XP for someone in their single digits adds up fast. It probably slows down to the point where you will want to go back to Baal runs to work your way up but if you're getting bored of Tristram, Tomb, and the aggravation of people getting a cows game together, this is probably the way to go.

Who is beating them? Just sit in town partied with someone who is getting the baal quest, and you're in hell in no time. Of course, you don't get to enter the worldstone keep in hell, but chaos sanctuary runs still pay off good.

There is only one quest for which you have to be present personally (and thus are in "danger" to get XP) if a party member kills the act boss to solve his own quest and that's Diablo. However, if you let the character run into D and you don't press ESC after he died (the character, of course, not D :lol: ), his location is still at the point where he died, so he will get credit for the quest without getting XP (and without having to take care of him on computer 2), assuming D won't be more than a screen away from the corpse when he dies. That's not an option in HC, of course :uhhuh:

Hmm, I'm quite sure that it won't work if the dummy is in town with rtespect to Diablo. Anyway, it won't hurt to try it next time I start a new character (which includes having a dummy in my party for more XP and the extra HF drop).

Are you talking about Diablo? Or Meph? That's true with Meph, but I'm 99% sure it doesn't work with Diablo.

There is a trick to pass it by :thumbsup:
Be im a game (in A5 of course) where someon of your party gets the Baal Q and you get it oo, no Ancients :thumbsup:

(This works for every boss you know, so if you cant find a Rush, go into a Kill x game :lol: )

But don't try to be stupid and stick to the other response as well --- I always forget to mention the "be in the same act" and "be partied" parts.

There is one cross-act issue with quests, though --- if someone hasn't done the Cain quest in A1, and someone else talks to Cain in A2 (or maybe the other Acts as well), you will no longer be able to create the Tristam portal in A1. Or something like that; usually happens/is noticed if someone is currently doing the Cain quest, so this could be a prerequisite.
