A charm that is dropped from Baal, on Hell Difficulty.

A small or large non unique charm dropped by Baal in hell.

Usually used for rerolling a skill charm with a second mod on that charm.

Only Baal in hell has a high enough mlvl to drop a charm that can be rerolled to get the higher mods.

Usually +40 to life as a second mod, among other things...

yes you can roll a skiller with a nm cow gc....you will not be able to roll one with life 41-45 though....because it may take alot of pgems to get a skiller most don't want to waste them on a nonbaal charm.....i am well over 200 pgems on my latest charm

Baal charms are those which can get any affix in the game (especially the 41-45 live suffix for GCs). Diablo and Nilathak can drop them as well. That means you shouldn't take the name literally.

BTW, my current Baal GCs are quite big black holes, having eaten hundreds of pgems together with the blood, sweat and tears sticking on them and producing just enough semi-useful GCs to keep my mouth wet . I'm even not just aiming for 41-45 life skillers, but any GC I can make use of.

Exactly, I should have mentioned the need for almost endless PGems for re-rolling purposes.

Then again you may get lucky after the first few tries...

Macic item + 3 perfect gems of any type = new magic item of same type with new but random stats.

Example :

1 Magic Grand charm + 3 perfect Gems of any type.

Put thos in horadric Cube and hit transmute.

You get a new magic Grand Charm with new stats.

This does not work with the Gheeds Fortune or Anni charms, since they are unique and therefore not magic.
