AVG anti-virus

AVG anti-virus

So whenever I do a virus scan, a screen will pop up saying that I have three trojan horse viruses and names the files that they're in. I click to remove the viruses but then another screen pops up saying Access is denied and that some files cannot be removed. Could anyone help please?

start your computer in safe mode, and scan again
(restart, f8 after bios, then select safe mode)

if that fails to remove it, run msconfig (start-> run -> msconfig -> [OK]) and disable everything from the startup tab
restart to safe mode again, and scan again

after it finishes, you can turn some stuff back on with msconfig again, and restart
