I am doubtful an Avenger can take on the Ubers. Vengenace doesn't attack very fast, is not ITD like Smite, and can be interrupted. All in all, not a good idea for taking on the Ubers.

Vengeance is very strong if geared properly. Avenger's have always been elemental tanks. For pvm play you'd never have to worry about immunes.
"Avenger's can beat ubers perhaps easier and definitely cheaper then other non conviction using uber killers builds.
While all you fanat pallies are trying to get your 120 overstack to vs meph, we on the Avenger only need our regular max hell res vs him. No conviction to worry about since ours is of a higher level (thereby negating mephs). Vengeance still carries cb.ow, but like all good pallies , when we vs the ubers it's smart to smite instead. Ar is not a problem for vengeance so like every other melee build that doesnt use smite (kickers, conc barbs , frenzy etc) we as an avenger have it that much easier then they do.
you might not enjoy playing one of these, but the build is FAR from dead and broken. It's always been a strong attack and even more so with the newer patches and weps.
you sound like someone who only thinks Hammerdins and the other cookie cutters are the only way to play the game. :whistling:

Every single class has multiple builds that can take down the ubers. Ive done it on all of them here on HC.
