What equipment setup allows the maximum number of worthwhile auras for a single player? I'm thinking about trying to make something like:
Avenger Pally with Conviction (Max)
  • Dream Helm (lvl 15 Holy Shock)
  • Dragon Armor (lvl 14 Holy Fire)
  • Exile Shield (lvl 16 Defiance)
  • Beast Weapon (lvl 9 Fanaticism)
Might Merc (maxes out at lvl 31 Might when clvl 98)
  • Dream Helm (lvl 15 Holy Shock)
  • Bramble Armor (lvl 21 Thorns)
  • Pride Polearm (lvl 18 Concentration)
With this, my merc and I would share benifits of 6 auras (Conviction, Defiance, Fanaticism, Might, Thorns, Concentration), plus we'd both get Holy Shock and I'd also get Holy Fire.

What would be even better than this?

theres just one problem dream, pride, dragon are all LADDER ONLY!!! runewords

I think he's just talking about when playing single player but on Ladder.

You can get one more aura if you have an item with iron golem charges but the IG will disappear when you quit the game since it's not from innate skill.

correction the iron golem only give his aura to himself im not quite sure y but i know this cause i have a skele mancer with Ig but Ig is the only one with the aura.

you can get 7 auras for both u and your merc to share if you wana be a palidon.

I presume he was talking about making an iron golum out of an item that grants an aura. Say beast, the fanaticism aura would then apply to all allied hirelings/minions/players with the aura's radius.

i highly doubt that i believe he was talking about charges who would consider wasting a bramble or beast every time u made a game?

like he said charges dissapear and when u exit they go bye bye.

don't correct if you don't know what your talking about.
