Astreon's / Redeemer for smiter.

I've read, altough only vaguely, that these scepters can be quite powerful for a smiter. Altough not as powerful as thy hallowed one, namely Grief, they are always allowed in pvp whereas in some leagues/pvp communities grief is not.

I have searched the forums a bit, but I can't find any solid facts about these two or other good "pvp legit" weapons. What are they for, why are they good and so on. You get the picture.

Like grief both of these weapons have + damage on them which helps out your smite damage, Damage +60-120 (varies) on the redeemer and Damage +40-85 (varies) on astreon's so no where near as good as the +340-400 (varies) on grief. Also the redeemer being a has a base speed of [0] and no ias on it which means you will need to find 50-60% ias on the rest of your gear, where as astreon's has a base speed of [-10] and 10%ias on it, so you will only need ~24% more ias to hit the last breakpoint. Assuming you will be using fanaticism. I do like to use astreons on my uber smiters at the beginning of ladder season's when Lo runes are hard to get, since it does have some + dmg as well as 33%cb.
