I'm sure someone has done it before, however i was curious before i did it, how good it acctually is. I was planning on making a ladder zon and i was going to use Dragon, dream, and faith. Lvl14 Holy Fire, lvl15 Holy Shock, lvl15 Fanta, and 12% for hydra. It sounded like a good build, is there anything i should know before i get started?

try dragon and hoj (stacked fire aura) and then make a torchazone (gives about ~5K dmg immo arrow)

the many aura are not that useful you just lose much dmg and get pretty weak aura dmg perhaps you should think of a dual dream (on higest possible base block% shiels), and make a javazone that sounds a nice idea

Yes.The only good bowazon is one with Windforce,atmas scarab wartravelers raizortail max strafe and might merc.
All the new runewords suck for the amazone and all the ppl that try them get dissapointed very fast .
Only good new runeword for is BOTD that is slightly better than windy but cost a fortune and goes poof in a few months.
All other runewords are total crap is you just intent to kill fast
(with the exception of a phoenix armor ) ha ha ha !

First of all, there is not ONLY one good bowazon, because there are MANY good equipments/ skills for bowazons too. multi, guild arrow are way better than strafe in PvP. I think you are talking about pvm right? multi also works fine in PvM.

Second, botd is not a new runeword and i wont rate it better than wind force either. but one thing for sure the runewords wont poof that easily like you said, i have MANY different runewords (botd, enigma etc) and have not got a single one poofed on me yet since the beginning of 1.10 (i am 100% sure that around 99.99% of the high runes in the runewords i have ARE duped) and i bring them to pubby baal runs etc.

Third, there is a new runeword for a bow called "FAITH" which is a VERY VERY nice bow for a zon because of it's high damage output/ speed with the fanat aura, put it in a GMB or MB with +3 bow skill(I perfer GMB, but it's up to the person). I perfer faith over the other 2. combine with Fortitude armor, it's a great combo.

Sigh.. it's sad how anyone could think that BOTD even comes close to WF. Your trading 20 IAS for over 200 base dmg...

There are many viable builds other than the one you've stated. Faith GMB and fortitude definately don't suck.

As for the topic.. never try to give zons elemental damage with equipment/charms. It just doesn't work. Maybe with extremely stacked out charms/gear you could get ~5k lightning dmg.

I also beg to differ. I have taken Zon's thru Hell using WF, Ice, Faith, Harmony, Wrath, Brand, Mavina's, the 'Burrito', upped Riphook, upped Wizendraw, WWS, GSA, Lycanders Aim and a few interesting rare bows. All of these can be 'good' and I haven't been disappointed in using any of them. Granted some take you a lot longer than others but then I never was concerned about just 'killing fast'. Different bows require diferent skills, equipment (and not necessarily Godly stuff either) and strategy but all of them are viable. You'd think players that have been trying to kill Baal for a long time would get tired of playing the same 'best of' builds and trying to beat the game ASAP and instead would try experimenting and enjoying the game.

Upped Wizendraw lol. I thought I was the only one. Used a 2 x upped perfect one through act 4 Hell in Hardcore (first hardcore char). What a great bow for the poor zon.
