Just curious about this build, how come you went with a bear since you could just cast amageddon in human form. More life?HardyZ said:i can't tell you the exact way to follow, i made one in single player which looked like this:
1 werewolf
1 lychantropy
1 werebear
1 maul
1 oak sage
20 armageddon
20 volcano
20molten boulder
10 fissure(for 30 sec geddon)
20 firestorm
+5 prerequisites in the elemental tree to get to armagueddon
which make it 100 skill points, which means clvl 89. Pretty high to me. As you can see, i chose the path of maximum fire, which makes it poorly prepared against fire immunes.
I also chose a holy freeze merc and to go max block.
Hope it helps a bit.
actually, yes, you get more life, and you can cast geddon in bear form (assuming that I didn't misinterpret your post). If you add in shockwave, for pvp and pvm, it can be insanely effective. Interesting theory on the +geddon pelt. It might work, but I doubt you could get very high damage numbers on the geddon.sunbearie said:Just curious about this build, how come you went with a bear since you could just cast amageddon in human form. I knew a char who actually just used a +amageddon pelt, then maxed firestorm and used the MB charges on "stone" runeword armour. The remainder went to shockwave, maul/HOW. Pretty effective actually.
I like this idea!sunbearie said:I knew a char who actually just used a +amageddon pelt, then maxed firestorm and used the MB charges on "stone" runeword armour. The remainder went to shockwave, maul/HOW. Pretty effective actually.
I like this idea!
20 points Firestorm
Rest for MaulBear
Any other Equipment syndergize with Armageddon besides Stone?
i like when people read the comments in their threads...HardyZ said:But worst than that: you simply can't do it... Armagueddon requires at least a point in each elemental skill, and if you have a natural point in a skill, the bugged synergy won't work... So here, it can't.
My understanding is that if you have a Druid Helm that gives you +skill to Armageddon, then you don't want to put any points into it at all, and you will still be able to use the skill and receive the synergies.HardyZ said:i like when people read the comments in their threads...![]()
Hehe, seems i somehow misread your comment, didn't realise you weren't talking about natural skill points. Just re-tested it, and it works, so we might be able to do something around that idea(we just have to find a +3 gueddon plain/3sox peltSuperbit said:My understanding is that if you have a Druid Helm that gives you +skill to Armageddon, then you don't want to put any points into it at all, and you will still be able to use the skill and receive the synergies.
If I'm wrong, please punish me!
If you're wrong, please admit to it.
There's also a hydrid that uses this build which is a hurricane-amageddon druid since both builds have a relatively small radiusHardyZ said:Hehe, seems i somehow misread your comment, didn't realise you weren't talking about natural skill points. Maybe that+stone+earthshifter+a bunch of +skills might do it(can't test with earthshifter since i can't seems to find it in my single player trainer's items)
Now, i can't punish you![]()
I have an earthshifter stashed away somewhere, but I thought it'd be too slow for Maul. Unless you're thinking about using it on weaponswitch for casting Armageddon?sunbearie said:There's also a hydrid that uses this build which is a hurricane-amageddon druid since both builds have a relatively small radius![]()
The down-side is obviously you need to give up on your pelt which often doesn't compare to Jalan's, ravenlore etc.
You can get firestorm charges on steelspell(comes with teleport too) and I'm not sure if fissue charges are available somewhere.
If I find an earthshifter, thats the build I'm going with, an amageddon maulbear. No block, resists etc isn't that essential when you have shockwave![]()
i agree, it would be way too slow for maul. I'd personaly use it either on weapon switch as you suggested, or as main weapon on a summoner/gueddon(as weapon switch would be arioc's/ondal's/mang song's/whatever will boost summons). I'll have to test it somehow one day.Superbit said:I have an earthshifter stashed away somewhere, but I thought it'd be too slow for Maul.
