it's like asking if a car is expensive. it can be. if you want a top of the line melt your face off sports model, you're going to pay a lot for it. if you want something to get you to work every morning, you can spend less.

Really, really cheap if you're not aiming for "Phoenix," "Infinity," etc. on her. I have one, which I'm not using right now, that I basically built on a shoestring budget in the mold and look of a classic Java.

Merc has a Reaper's Toll, "Treachery" armor, and Guillaume's Face on.
Much of this can be picked up for a few pgems or found yourself. Gloves can be gambled or found, as I did with mine. Anything that's not LI dies fast.

Been playing up my Javazone to level 70 with using a ceremonial javelin with +2 javelin-skills mod. Having been lucky and now being in possession of 7 pgems, I thought I would manage to find someone willing to trade Titans.
-No such luck. The first one just called me a "****" in chat, the next one wanted a Pul or 2xLem rune and the last one only wanted a Zod.
This is impossible for me, since the highest rune I have is one Sol(!)
What mods should a Titans have to be considered not "Top Notch"? I would settle for one with minimal stats, but it would be easier to bid on one if I knew what to look for

Not answering for Maiku, just my two cents
IMO, no they are about the same. The Demon's Arch is a stout weapon, but it is so s-l-o-w. Most javas don't have enough IAS (around 90 IIRC) in their builds to make it perform well. However, against PI/LIs there is no contest, the Arch/Tiamat's win hands down.

Seems to work better (in my case, because my two Titan's are crap ED), but another reason why I have it there is to also take care of LI/PIs YogiRat mentioned or anything that just doesn't seem to drop dead from normal CS/LF attacks. One of my favorite tricks with Demon's Arch + Tiamat's is to switch to LF and use that to carry the fire and cold damage from afar, so she doesn't have to risk danger. With her gear and Merc, she can take on almost anything without an "Infinity"...although her life would be much better if she had one. I built her mostly out of nostalgia for Classic, but she is surprisingly effective even with "subpar" gear. BTW, I went with a pure Lightning Javazon build on her, following Jek's guide, so that means no Valk.

If you just want to have some fun and kill an occasional cow cheap equipment will do.
If you are a fanatic java lover like me you will only spend the best stuff on her and spoil her and actually sweettalk her when you see her on the screen and hope maybe when you wake up someday she will be lying there next to you in bed :wink3:
