Apparently you don't need to die first

This artist proves that you don't need to be dead to have your works displayed in a museum.

If you follow the link in the article and go to his site, the art he hung is about halfway down the page, accompanied by photos showing how he did it. Interesting stuff.

Didn't click on the link. If it's Bansky, it's alright.

It is Bansky. Is there something special about him?

Portrait of the Artist as a young octopus.

You don't have to be a dead artist to make money either. Jasper Johns (sp?) sold one painting for an incredible $50 million dollars and he is still alive. It's not the sort of painting I'd want (nor could I afford) but art is a funny thing: one man's trash is another's treasure, after all.

Heck, most of Jackson Pollack's art consists of skillfully placed paint splats that any five year old could do yet Pollack is considered an artist while the five year old gets scolded for being messy. Art truly is a funny thing.

all you have to do is say that you took a long time making something apparently random.
