Anyone tried this on a kicker?

Last Wish on a kicker? Expensive, yes, but ctc Life Tap + ITD + PMH + Might Aura + the best thing of all...up to 70% CB...all that makes a great weapon for taking on the ubers or other bosses.

Best of all, if it doesn't work well on your kicker you can trade it away at a profit if you get a good roll!

I've been toying with the idea of an expensive Aurakickersin with max DTalon and Venom -

-Last Wish
-Phoenix shield (that ED will transfer to kicks, plus it adds Redemption aura, boosts your res ceiling, and has good missile defense however important that may be)
-Dream helm (another aura, plus some FHR and resist all)
-Dragon VS CoH armor VS Duress(Dragon has a nice aura, and a few resistances, but CoH has hefty resistances, life steal, and some DR, yet still...Duress has FHR, resistances, CB, and OW...and it's CHEAP)

Granted you wouldn't have any sockets available, but still. Seems like a decent build with lots of elemental damage and enough CB/OW to make some dents in the ubers, but I have no experience with them so I wouldn't really know... I think between rings, an amulet, a belt (Verdungos?), gloves (Dracs?), and boots (Gores?), there'd be enough damage and resistances and life steal and DR there. Any ideas?

CoH = 65% res all
Dream = 20% res all (5-20)
Duress = 45/15/15/15
Anya = 30% res all

Torch = 10-20 res all
Anni = 10-20 res all

Plus there are charms - once you've maxed out your FHR you've got nothing left to put on charms except skills and resistances (assuming CTA on switch).

65 + 5 + 30 = 100 res all without anni, without torch, without any charms, without any resistanes on jewelry or belts, and that's using CoH and the lowest possible Dream helm. So you've got 75 to go (or higher if you use Phoenix because of the +max res). Maras makes that easy, along with an anni and torch. And even still, you've got rings and potentially a belt or gloves, depending on preferences (though I think without Dracs a kicker will be toast).

the lifetap and cb are looking pretty good

your res looks pretty good, and looks like you will have extremely low str
im assuming you are wearing a raven, so a blood ring sounds good

you would have to have a lot of fhr charms to reach 86, as all you have is 10 from dungos and 20-30 from dream
i suppose that you really dont need that much for pvm bc if you get surrounded you are dead anyway. period.

I think the charms would be the hardest thing in the whole set. Anyone leaning closer to a cheap Duress than to CoH? I'd have to boost resistances elsewhere but Duress has more offensive effects (CB and OW) and FHR (40%!). No experience with these new items though, as I always make my assassins last, when I can equip them, and I had just reinstalled and now here we are with a ladder reset...

At least on the stats screen, it didn't show that Dream added any damage to Dragon Talon kick damage .

I'd like to throw in my two cents. Having played a kicker and substituting in Phoenix after ladder ended, I quickly found that it did less damage than putting on a second Bartuc's (for both the +skills and strength). After charging Tiger Strike, the damage was SIGNIFICANTLY lower with Phoenix - around 3-4k lower (ouch!).

also for resits dont forget the assasin only skills that kicks ***:

if u dont need much more IAS or ur going toe to toe with the ubers forget IAS (well against meph anyways) and go for massive stacked resits or u will die no matter wat ur leeching with LL and life tap...trust me tryed and failed.


once meph is dead go nuts with IAS (BoS) and kick the crap outta baal and diablo

Dream´s elemental damage is transfered to kicks? Dont think so.

Also, physical damge on kicks is so low, using phoenix wont increases it that much, plus the firestorm is really annoying. For the same reason lifetab wont help neither (btw where do you get 15% ctc lifetab from? Dracs is just 5%,)

For the ubers, I think huge CB and as many poison resists reduction as you can use would be the best combo. Too bad conviction doesnt lowers poison resists.

Only thing i can think of is for narcissus to give the build a try and report back. Even if the build doesnt work well in pvp or against ubers or what not, at least you have a lot of cool items

Yeah everyone told me elemental dmg went onto kicks too... And good job spotting the other 10% ctc Life Tap.

I will be attempting to slowly gather this equipment and build this assassin, but it will take some time. I'll report back findings as I go along. I will most likely be swapping out the Phoenix shield for a Stormshield, at least until I can easily afford one. That should be...never...

I'd pick CoH over Duress since extra 50 res all + 2 all skills >> 15 CB on Duress. One-on-one, I'd say a decent kicker can kill as fast if not faster than a zealot. And a kicksin probably survives better without BoS than a zealot without Fanaticism.

Only caveat is with the various ctc built into the equipment; your Life Tap could be triggered in one round only to be nullified by a triggered Charged Bolt in the next. This could prove to be fatal if your kicksin is swarmed..

Now I feel like a dork. I forgot Dream had resists on it. After re-reading the stats, I see it as a much better piece of equipment.

With the 10% Life Tap from Last Wish, I don't think Draculs would be necessary. The 5% on Draculs alone was plenty from when I played through. Instead, IAS/CB gloves could be used.

50 IAS is going to be needed to keep the kicker at max speed. BoS isn't an option (unless you feel like constantly recasting it) due to the CTC Fade on Last Wish. 20 IAS gloves and two IAS jewels would do it, but with all those runewords, that's impossible. Faith on an A1 merc would be another option.

Huh? Curses override curses, Charged Bolt isn't a curse.

It is low indeed. I remeber when I played with my kicker, lifetab´ed targets didnt fill my red ball up that much at all (both pvp & pvm).

Plz explain the stuff about dream bonuses being transferd to kicks.

All elemental damage is transfered to kicks. Holy Shock adds elemental damage, ergo, boom. Last Wish is the only way I think it is viable to use Dreams since the CB on Guillaume's Face is nearly indispensable.

I'll never have those runes anyway, so I don't even bother thinking about it most of the time.
