    Anyone offroad?

I have a 2003 Jeep TJ Rocky Mountain edition and it is time for new tires. Does anyone here offroad? Jeep or other I am trying to find some decent tires that will allow me to use them on road and do some basic offroading, mostly mud etc no real rockclimbing. Down the road I want to have two sets of rims and wheels that I can change when I want to do some real offroading.

I offroad from time to time. I have a Laredo ('96) with the Up Country package.

For my second set of tires I bought BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A's.

They worked out very well for me in mud and esp snow. I got over 80,000 miles on them.

I have goodyear wrangler all terrain tires on my jeep. They provide good off road performance, but are quiet on the highway and road. Any serious off road tires are going to be loud as hell.

Yeah, I'm going to need to get a tire that's a good combination of traction and not being frigging earsplitting on the highway. I have a Nissan Xterra.

I was looking at Mickey Thompson Baja Claw tires. 31x105x15 255$CDN a tire at the first store I went to.

I was also looking to use these on American Racing Chamber rims with Teflon 304$CDN per rim.

Not cheap but from what I read a good mixture of on and off road.

Well I offroad alot due to crappy driveways on construction sites. And sometimes just to rip up their backyard..their gonna redo the whole thing anyways.
But on a planned situation I now ride 4-wheelers(ATV's). Big Bear 4x4 is what I got..works great in deep mud.
But ya on my truck I run those BFGoodrich that Amra posted a bit back. I use them becasue..well, they looked pretty neat and the guy said they give good mileage. I've had them for 5 yrs now..still going.
