Well this is ridiculous - people who have illegal software have a way easier life by not having to wait for updates for a full day.


What is blizzards resolution - after a year they still make every other update the delays - unforgivable. They say a donkey doesn't hit the same stone twice. And learns from his mistakes.
What is blizzard? A true moron?


If patches truly are so "dangerous" and require so much maintenance (where the test team days before patching?) - they should work on a work around. IE allow offline play during them. Or allow people to temporary go US <-> europe during patches.
All relatively easy things and prevent frustration build ups.

(OW; and please don't say now "but your information is stored at the server". - bull**** reason, it might be but nowadays a transfer of those few kB takes what? 2 seconds?)

Well as you might remember from me, I generally have "1 free day" a week. So actually patches are something that holds me back for buying d3 ros. On top of that a game is something that should be there when you need it You shouldn't have to be there when the game wants it. *I* am customer *I* I am king.

I honestly can't find an excuse for -after continuous problems for 2 years- that they are still simply saying "sorry". I don't buy anythign from sorry. As my job I work on aircraft fuselage design, if an aircraft gets lost I can say "sorry", but then I have to learn from it. I can't keep making the same mistake year in year out.
As I explained there are realistic work around so that this can't be a problem anymore. (Do 2 patches, and allow people to hop servers during the patch time of their home server is the best I think).


On top of that I am really annoyed with the lack of information about what is going on.

So yes, I do "rant"; But I will always give at least 2 alternatives that would stop me from ranting - otherwise nobody benefits of my rant.

They've been doing this for 10 years. In the US the patch day is Tuesday, in the EU it's Wednesday.

Why don't you let your customers design your fuselages then? Surely that would open up your schedule considerably. What could possibly go wrong?

After looking at the thread title and reading your OP, I'd say you are.

I expect many things, but alas, they don't happen. Sucks, I know. Also, a database transfer is not as simple as copying a few files, especially if you want to keep things in sync between two servers.

Take a game like runescape: it happens constantly there. And no regarding database it doesn't matter if a game has 3d graphics or simple 2d isometric - or even text based, the graphics aren't stored with account information.
