This is also my reservation about the ladder reset. If it remains then the realms will be exactly as they are now within a few weeks of the reset.

Yes, We all work at blizzard and are going to tell you of all people if it will be patched.
I personally couldn't care less if it was or wasn't patched, Doesn't affect my d2 life much except for some fun. I would much rather hacks like mh, bots, Blackwall, AA, Chicken and things.

Instead of crying about tppks, do like me, try to hunt them down and kill them

Moolah is where the problem is, hunting them is easy --> make a public baal game and they show up like bears to honey. Or something like that lol.
It's all nice to puff your chest out and say "hunt them down and kill them", hell it's even amendable, but it's not a realistic nor practical solution to the problem. If it were, it wouldn't have ruined HC the way it has. There really is no effective way to fight back against it for the players or community.
I really hope we get a technical patch with the reset that fixes, among other things, the TPPK.

itd be so easy to fix all blizz has to do is make a hostile delay like 10 secs when u leave a tp for town

They've already taken a stance against legit tppk, that being hydras. Though that was more often than not wppk, or redportalpk . But yeah, either a tp hostile timer or just removing projectiles after you enter a TP. I imagine the former would be easier. I don't know what the easiest option would be to take out the current dupe method, perhaps drop you if you make too many bone walls or poison spears? They could make any game which causes x amount of server latency close. They have it in place for games with inactivity for x amount of time already

there should never be a chance to kill someone without them fighting back unless they're afk in the blood moor
Edit: hostile delay is no good, actual PKing is a huge part of HC (or it used to be) and as long as they have to come for you it's fair, they could however implement like a 3second delay to hotfix tppking
I still think it should be aloud, HC would be so boring without any dangers in HC. It's damn hard to die PvM if your carful and have ok gear.
I dont care if tppk is fixed, Doubt it will. I like it, another thing to cause death in hc. More of a challenge =]
I don't know what HC would be like w/o tppk, People will probably start baal runs and just Hot Tp everyone =]

It's not something you can realistically outplay. You can only strip out fun parts of the game. Don't play in public. Don't play with class, class, and class. Don't use challenging builds that lack a ton of survivability.
Randomly killing 1% of the characters on Bnet would reduce boredom, but wouldn't be fun. TPPK is the same idea.
I really doubt there will be a patch. Just a reset of the ladder. If TPPK was nullified I would be one very happy camper, though.
I think it is. I know of the lack of games...I don't like getting tppk'd. But i like how it keeps down pubby baal games etc. There are plenty or normal runs. Which can get you to 45ish when i solo/get nm baal.
Alot of people like tppk. (Most are ones that use it) But some are like me and don't really care =]

This smells a little like troll bait. Giving you the benefit of the doubt, here's a reply. tppk is the number 1 most despised hack there is. If you suspect someone is using AA, chicken etc, just don't duel them. tppk doesn't give you that choice, in addition to being a totally cowardly kill method.

TPPK is more degenrative to hardcore than any other hack ever was. It would be much better to be able to join public games, even if it was to play solo. Having 0 public games really ruins the experience in alot of ways for a lot of people.
