Any PvM builds for this weapon?

I just found a near perfect(238%) Cranium Basher on HCLadder while doing a pit run wiht my trapper. Was wondering what build it might be suitable for, if any... :/
My only charachter right now is my assassin and basically I have been trying to wait as long as possible to start a new charachter until I find a good weapon that is sorta "end of the line" so to speak. And Basher seems to me at least to be a good weapon, perhaps not close to runeword quality but maybe decent still?
The next char I will make must be one that is able to take out the Dclone and of course fun to play. I had been thinking abit of making a zealot or barb ww:er which obviously this weapon dont work well on. But what build does? Could a werebear mauler for example make use of Cranium Basher, would the speed be enough with shael rune and highlords,20ias gloves etc? And is the chance to cast amp a decent way to enable soling, i mean the ability to remove physical immunities? Any other build perhaps? Berserk barb? (2hand in hardcore zero def :p shows balls at least)
Here is the stats by the way for the weapon if anyone dont remember the mods:

Two-Hand Damage: (119-132) To (560-632) (339.5-382 Avg)
Required Level: 87
Required Strength: 253
Base Weapon Speed: [20]
+200-240% Enhanced Damage (varies) [mine is 238%]
+20 To Minimum Damage
+50% Damage To Undead
75% Chance Of Crushing Blow
4% Chance To Cast Level 1 Amplify Damage On Striking
20% Increased Attack Speed
All Resistances +25
+25 To Strength
+20 To Maximum Damage (not shown)
Indestructible

Hope someone have an idea, I'm beginning to feel like I REALLY NEED to get my butt of the wagon and start a new char very soon....

Maybe a conc/ww barb or werewolf druid. Just some ideas might work..might not. Good luck. :)

EDIT: Werebear druid using maul hits 15 frame w/ only a shael in weapon. 13 frames with 35 ias OFF weapon and 40 ON Weapon.

Ran some numbers for fury druid. They don't make sense to me but here they are anyway.

Fury hits 11 frames w/ 40wias and lvl 25 ww. dunno what the frame break down is like however as the frames table says: 7 frame for 27wias

Thanks for the help and the number crunching. I realise now after your use of the words "OFF" and "ON" that I did one critical error in my initial thoughts for the usefullness of this weapon... I was under the impression that there was no difference between off and on weapon ias for druids... A big error in other words because Cranium Basher is S L O W :p
Last time I played a shifter was when LoD just came out and back then I didnt care much for the mathematics of the game, well I do know so lol cranium basher seems like a poor choice. Heck maybe even a cheap and boring IK maul would outperform it?
But something good came out of this nonetheless, I have at least deceided that I will go for a druid shifter as my next charachter. Just did some checking up in the druid forum and think it will be a werebear since they are so seldom seen. Also read a nice little guide(although old) after fidning the basher which got me pretty entusiastic about the whole idea of werebears. Looks matter is all I say, and the guide had some nice pictures of cuddly bears, so why not create one and be cool too? :D ;)
I have some wealth I could use to trade for another weapon but I actually probably will not. I alwaysed like to keep trading to a minimum and try to mf everything myself, it sort of adds a dimension I think to the charachters you create. You get a little story ofr every item you have and tend to feel more satisfied with your charachter. But hey if that Cranium Basher turns out to be as unplayable as I think it is now well... a trade migt be an route I will happily take... :p
What is by the way the prefered Werebear weapons in 1.11? Grief phase sword I would imagine for it's speed? Or am I wrong?

Actually that is a pretty nice weapon for an assassin :)
A kicksin wants high strength for more damage, and with Dragon Talon you get 4 kicks at lvl 18 (5 if you manage lvl 24), which is gonna be very nice with 75% Crushing Blow. Use the new Assassin Armor runeword for 45% IAS, and add Burst of Speed to that to make up for the slow speed. Add upgraded Goreriders for good base kick damage and a total of 90% CB ...
You could also try Blade Fury (1 point in the skill is enough), the damage wont be extremely high (because it is 2handed), but it has a fixed speed of 4 attacks per second, and it also carries over the crushing blow, albeit only half as effective because it is a ranged attack.

Since you're hardcore, you might appreciate the safety of the Blade Fury attacks (especially with a nice Shadow Master, and maybe Knockback on some crafted gloves), though ofcourse you can use both on the same char (since they only cost about 25 points together, including prerequisites).
Never fought DClone, so I dont know if something like this could manage him (though the CB is very nice for him ofcourse)
No doubt other builds are much more effective, but I can guarantee that this is a pretty fun char to play

To make a really carefull annalysis of this issue you should use a weapon speed calc and compair how this weapon works with different chars and different skills, taking into consideration different socketing and gear IAS (if relevant). You can find a couple of good calculators here

My first impression is that this weapon has one godly advantage (75% chance for cb) and one horrible disadvantage (speed). Palladin´s Charge attack has good use of cb and weapon speed doesn´t matter there. Still the weapon dmg is preatty low for 2h weapon with 87 clvl required. Check out if ther´s ANY possibility to make it to high speed weapon (I belive that only druid can swing it relatively fast but compair it to ww barb). A fast attack would make better use of amp dmg and cb would be fired more times.

Whatever you do: if you see knights - RUN!!! :D

a kicksin wants high str for dmg, but he is also hc, with low life and no shield...hmm

im going to have to completely and respectfully disagree with this post
as there are much easier and much faster kicking ways of getting 90 cb, plus sins jsut look stupid with a maul

A berserker barb should be possible and cool. I have one using an eth windhammer and if played a bit carefull it should be possible on HC too, the res is also perfect with this build.

Else the furysin could be nice too, but some say that dam from 2-handers are cut in half compared to 1-hand weapons.

Two hand damage for blade fury is cut to 3/8.
Are you 100% certain?

I had a furysin last season, and when she switched between 1H and 2H weapons with approximately the same (reasonably high) base damage, her overall damage did not change at all. Perhaps you are thinking of 1.09...
