whats maphack.. what does it do.. is it considered ok in here.. :scratch:

There is a small majority who might use it, but the majority of legit players like me will not trade or play with them. It is also considered by the higher powers here to be under hacks/cheats (It is a third party program that gives you a huge advantage over your fellow players) and is not allowed to be linked or openly talked in this forum. I would not use it.

plus, why use it?
lazy are the people who cant spend the extra time it takes ot get around, who knows what you will find when u legit it!
Plus, why maphack inthe first place, it just puts you in the halls of cheaters and sad ppl, why cheat?
Then again i have, but Wc3 is a different story entirely, put those days behind me :lol:

Maphack is what you do when the road map the AAA gave you turned out to be years out of date and you ended up starving to death in the Arizona desert. Just before you die with your last ounce of strength you take out a knife and you hack that offending map to pieces.

I can understand the value of maphack on Bnet - you don't get to keep maps and it's useful for watching out for player killers (or other players to kill) - but I don't think it's of any real value in SP at all. Open MP is maybe another question (I haven't played it) but really, just running round an area is hardly a big deal.
