Anni and Torch on a PhysicalBowa, Is it really worth it?

Lets work the numbers(on a very low level) a little (mark: Im not really into figuring out numbers in details, I just tested it with my Wf/Faith bowa level 90)

Torch:
Lets say you have one with 20attributes. This will give you 40 more pts into dexterity(20str/20dex). (Im a glass-cannon, so I dont really count the 20vita pts here)
With the 40 dex you get 40 damage and some AR + the small damage gained from the +skills. But with 2x 3max sc or a 6max lc, I get 60 damage. So I get more damage from max charms, than the +skills and damage from the torch. Life and resists aside, you gain more without a torch (and I havent said anything yet about the Firestorm procs from the torch, which we all know is a ***** and causes games to chrash.)

Anni:
Here you get 40damage+1skill on one slot, which is more than the 3max sc.



Im going without a torch from now on.

I think you have to put into consideration here that the 1% ED per dex is applied to both base min and max damage. Fine charms only add to max base damage.

uh...u dont get 40 dmg from torch, u get 40ED, which multiplies ur ~250dmg bow, giving u 100 more dmg. not to mention +15% xtra dmg from GA/Strafe.

You also get anti-physical immune from the fire storm, as well as a buffer valk.

On the con side, you also get more lag.

I'd use them in private games. I've never crashed the system in private games. However, you'll want to take out the torch. Otherwise, prepare to be kicked out of bnet

Not only the stats for %ED, they also provide +skills and +resist
If you have both, +4 skill = another +20% ED if using strafe or guide arrow and stronger valk. Also, more +resistance never hurts, right?

As above mentioned, the only downside is the firestorm from torch.

Oh, the +max will only add to +max damage. Then, the average damage will be half of that.

Guess blizz never thought about fast attacking characters when they slapped on the firestorm mod on torches.

Yeah, I wish there is a way to turn it off. Or, at least make it more useful => can increase its damage by +all skill items

Think it's should do reasonable damage on an FC bear tho tbh I find it pretty effective vs stuff like souls (high dr low hp) unboosted. Can makes quite a difference jabbing or strafing with crap gear. Anni and torch are both worth at least 3x their weight in 3/20/20s imo, or would be except torch is unusable on a bnet strafer.
