An Assassin utilizing the Darkness?

I want to make my first post-1.08 assassin, and I really want to make her someone who utilizes the darkness....shadows... to the fullest effect. Night sequences I have always loved in DII, they feel so ....night-like.

Anyway, are there any builds you would recommend for an assassin who is pure shadow? I'd like to emit the smallest amount of light as possible, so no flaming fists or lightning shots. I'm incredibly poor, to the point of having no items at all, so I'd like it cheap.

I love assassins. (this is for PvM of course)..

Hmm...looks like you're going for the 'stealth' theme...if so, any of these three builds should suit you:

The PvM Ninja
The PvM 'Shadow Walker'
The Furysin (Blade Fury)

Posted before the 1.10 runewords were discovered, so might be more viable options among them I haven't considered.

If you want the least amount of light, equip a Veil of Steel (Really nifty stats - res, str, vit) and I think the Crescent Moon necklace has dual leech and -light radius.

Glooms Trap mesh belt also has a -light radius. -3, iirc. Decent belt too.

Only a tiny bit OT: Is there a max to -light radius? My b. fury assn. has a pile of -radius, and when she casts cloak, the screen goes nearly completely black (Save spell effects and the tiny radius that I have).

ninjasins are awesome. Although the guide says you will die a lot, if you wear dracs and have max res +50% WB you will never die. Max block with 50% pdr + dracs you wont die, either
