Unless a miracle happens, George W is the only one I would consider voting for. Not that he's the perfect president but I find him far less repulsive than the other choices.

kerry, no question. he'd have to start killing kittens like PLF's avatar to make me consider someone else, and even then it'd be close.

ooooOOO, 600.

Wow, I thought one-issue voters were pathetic - this is even more so.

Note to Commando: Kerry (note spelling) doesn't support *** marriage. Educate yourself.

I don't think that the erosion of Christianity will be the downfall of the U.S. And equating morality with Christianity as you seem to be doing is pretty suspect. Alas, that's an issue for another thread.

I am going to vote for a write-in candidate. I am going to take a cue from Maddox and vote for a box of tic tacs. The tic tacs won't screw everything up, will fight stinky breath with only 1 1/2 calories, can travel in carryon bags instead of a 500 million dollar jet, and doesnt' give a rats *** if gays want to marry.

well, munch, my uneducated self has read and heard on the radio that carry is, or at the very least, is NOT opposed to it(homosexual marrage)

and there are plenty of other issues that i would not vote for carry over, this one is just the main one that stuck in my head.

funny, the mudslinging begins

and to anikana, spelling?
this country was founded on christianity, the basis of morality is very much a chrisitan base, and if you dont see it that way, thats cool, everyone has their own oppinion, and just cause thats what i think is right, may not be for you, thats why its OPPINION

regarding this issue: kerry supports civil unions; he does not support *** marriage. he has said he'd consider a MA state amendment banning *** marriage depending on the wording of the amendment. i don't know his position on an amendment to the US constitution, but you could find this at johnkerry.com if you'd like to learn his positions firsthand rather than over the radio. no mudslinging here (other than perhaps whatever you were listening to). :)

edit: re his position on a US amendment, he takes the states' rights view. ie, he's against bush's proposed amendment.
