All ways thinking of a LLD, VLLD?

I keep thinking about the fire trapper but then Hotspurs come to my mind.
So basically i have to choose Caster (+Skills) or Melee (Max damage jewels, 10 max/AR/Life gcs they look exspensive those charms).

Right after i complete my brother's Auradin i am going to make a VLLD or LLD.
I've check on a skill calc that if you have 10+ skills with a lightning sorc you can have 5.5k lit dmg i'll list the build skills (Including Quests)

18 Lightning
7 charged bolt
1 Telekinesis
1 static field
3 Nova
7 thunderstorm
1 teleport
1 Energy shield
1 Lightning chain
1 Lightning Mastery
1 Warmth

And mostly everything except warmth gets 10+ skills (From 2x sojs, Visceraunt, Vipermagi, Spirit, 2+ lit circlet, 2+ lit ammy)
And thats 5.5k i checked like 2 times with a skill calc.

Other than that any else got any good VLLD, LLD builds that are fun and competitive.

Your calculation is off somewhere. Max for a level 30 light sorc is ~2.8k. This is using the gear that you listed.

So, we take 1402 average damage and start applying penaltys
~58 damage before taking mdr into account on average

plus you dont get the cool hit recovery thing that fireball has going for it or the -res that blizz gets (or any cold for that matter) what you wind up with is the realization that a light sorc is the weakest casting sorc build at 30. not saying it cant kill or will totally suck, it's just the weakest by far.

Light sorcs can get near 5k max damage.

With absolute max damage and the equipment listed I'm seeing 7-3733 damage. How are you getting 5k at level 30 zangeif?
