    Aldurs for which Shapeshift Skill?

    Hey mates,
I found aldurs armor and boots the other day mfing and relising that i had aldurs wep and helm on a mule somewhere. I was bored at the time so i thought id just use the set to make something. i decided to use it as a shapeshifter but I i havent put any skills in yet. Any tips for what would be best skills using aldurs?

    Thanks

I think if you get rushed to hell and build around all of the stat bonuses, put 3 shaels in the weapon - you could have a very high life and attack rating fire claws wolf. I think it would be 7 frame? Not sure on this, but still when you have 20,000 damage or so, it shouldnt matter that much

hmm care to elaborate ? 20k damage from Aldur's Set is quite abit of damage (about 833 pvp damage after taking account 75% resist).

lvl 44 fireclaw is the highest possible, but lvl 43 would be the highest practical since you'd need Ravenfrost:

    lvl 43 ~16-17k damage
    7facets*(5/-5) = +35%/-35% damage

    Therefore, 17k * (+.35) = 22.95k damage max. It's more than possible.

    As far as I know, you can only have this many +skills from aulders;

    +4 shifting/ele, +3 summoning
+14 to a spicific branch from charms
    +2 spirit shield, +3 amulet magic amulet, +1 magefist {for fireclaw}, +1 belt, & +2 rings.

    So possibly 47.

    But...

I'm willing to bank that the modes a chains of honor armor + jalas main grants you would be better than the entire set of aldurs, simply because the weapon is so horrible.

The only useful part of this set is the boots, for people who like to have alot of hit points & cant find good waterwalks, or possibly the mace for a mld zealot or someone who cant find a better weapon to level with.

Yeah, but you should see all the comments I get with my Aldurs vita wolf.

    typically
<whatever their name is> An Aldurs wolf? aldurs set sux!! (whahahahaha!!!)
<wtni> Hey how come you're still alive?
<wtni> You've got an Iron Maiden on you and you didn't die from the first hit?
<wtni> You got surrounded by frentytaurs and managed to fight your way out?
    <wtni> Are you cheating?

Besides, it's fun to glow! Think of all the style points!

    good luck and good hunting!

The helm has 25% fhr, a spirit shield has 55% fhr. Two small charms covers the rest. One cham could fix the cbf. But i wouldnt even waste a cham in this setup, since this druid would be as fragile as a twig. Any shard from one orb would destroy him. And pvm wise he can use thawing / not get close to cold critters.

And whomever said that they think its fun to duel with aldurs just to win; pimp it out with facets, and spam fissure at the town entrance and camp. I'm sure you will get alot of kills that way untill someone starts guarding you or absorbs the really weak low damage.
