After D3-madness; starting my 69 barb

Hiya.

So, after hearing all this madness about D3 and seen all the videos and read all the chit-chat with the producers of the game, my joy for the Diablo-series appeared in my head once again.

Quite a while go, D2 was the only game for me (I played it only after patch 1.11). I played several classes and I've always loved dealing some melee damage (don't ask me why) so I was stuck with my barbarian.

Things went well and I played for quite a while and got to level 69, and by then I've gathered some nice gear and spent my talents well (I thought). Reading some posts and reading this forum I realized that maybe my barb wasn't as good as I thought it was, so I'm gonna give the whole gear, stat points and skill points I spent on my precious barbarian.

EDIT; I've run through Normal and Nightmare, and I'm on the first quest on Act 1 in Hell, and I'm pretty much stuck there. I'm wondering where I should go level up / gear up from now on; I feel completely stuck right now.

*breathes* There! There's my barbarian, just for you. As I said, this one was played ONLY in 1.11, and I really do suck with all the runes / crafted items / shortenings that exists here in the forums and ingame.
I plan on changing the talent points with a editor (don't flame me on this one) so it will be a good tree.

I'm playing this one on solo / LAN's ONLY just for fun, so nothing serious or online-items here!

All the help regarding my gear, my skill points, stat points and my plan to level this badboy up is much appreciated! Much love to anyone who helps me out :>

Quick update; I reorganized my points abit, and I come up with this;

1 bash
20 double swing
1 double throw
20 frenzy

20 axe mastery
1 iron skin
1 natural resistance

1 howl (3 with ik helm)
1 taunt (same here)
1 shout (same here)
8 battle orders (10 with ik helm)
1 battle command (3 with ik helm)

and I got myself a new ring for MF; Nagelring!

Think this works better at the moment. More damage, more defense and more HP when fightning, though I'm getting my *** kicked back to nightmare when I'm trying anything in Hell. Even the first monsters just outside the camp almost 5-shots me.

Where should I go now? Where should I gear up and level up? I feel really stuck :\

I can't say for certain as I'm just starting again myself after a hiatus, but I'd assume baal runs in NM or maybe NM cow running to level up a bit would help you out. Or maybe just find some friends to run with

I'm just starting on my own barb as well. I'm intending to use him as my MF char to gear up my other characters.
