Advice for a Freezealot

I'm starting a pally with my friend who is building a light sorc. We've been moving pretty slowly since it's his first time playing, so I've been mfing on the side to try to get us some late game equipment. I've had the good fortune of finding some nice high end equipment and was unsure of what how to use it. To be specifc:

Verdungo - 15% DR, 37 Vit, 131 ed, 105 stam, 12 regen
HoZ - 198% ED

The mods are pretty high so I expect they should earn me a good bit of currency if I chose to trade them. They also happen to be fantastic equipment for my zealot. Eventually, I'd like my friend and I to be able to take on uberTrist, and being somewhat ignorant of how defense works exactly, I'm not sure if I'm going to need equipment with near max stats to do that when the time comes. If I just traded for lower stats for now, would I eventually need to trade back up when I want to do Uber Trist?

Second question: Mercenary-wise, my friend is probably going to be running a defiance A2 merc, and I was debating between a Blessed Aim or Might Merc. Which would be better suited for me, or should we both be using totally different mercs?

high defense do not work well but makes difference. they always seem to hit me even i got 18k def, as a freezealot u shall have low i guess without maxed holy shield. but ubering with a freezealot? dont know if it is possible.

i dont know what can a lite sorc can do for taking junior and senior ubers :). some sorc players can answer this.

second q: u build a freezealot , so u wouldnot max HolyShield i guess, so need defense but u also need AR, which zealots would gain from fanaticism. i once made a freezealot and played with might merc for extra dmg. i would prefer might but if u have difficulty in hitting then change might to blessed aim.

frost zealler are my favorite type of pally i have 2:tongue: lol well i just recently tryed the ubers with my lvl 80 and he did well untill lieth come up(uber andy) the psn killed him fast then i had a friend help me kill her then we took on uber trist i went in and uber miphisto killed me right-a-way so i think only way to be a good frost zealer would be dc(diabloclone) hunter with cb(crushingblow) of corse or just a p.v.m. (i'm mainly pvm i do a litle ubering just for fun i need friends help though) good luck and if u need help with that zealot mesage me in the game(*jofe4)

the frost zeal build might seam cool, but if you want to run ubbers you might want to look into the normal zeal 1 point smite build, with this build and decent gear you could solo ubbers so helping your budding along would be no problem

you can also handle just about any PvM no problem with a normal zeal build. Im not saying you cant do well with the frost/zealot but i think youd have a better time of things with a normal zealot build
