act3 merc question

Anyone know the damages of iron wolfs act 3 mercs and if I can put like Griffons or Ormus on them and will it work? Also... they can only wear swords and shields right.. so can I put a 4x 5/5 facet kite shield and like 6x 5/5 facet phase on them to increase their damage?

I'm not sure about this one, if someone could do some tests maybe to figure this out, it'd be interesting to find out...

There is also a mainpage with all the Mercs.

They do get highlvl spells in the end, but they dont have CM or anything likely and CM from a Sorceress only works for her and not for minions, players or mercs around here.

Ofcourse you can use facets and yes they will increase their damage!

Though I can't possibly argue with a moderator

well i tried a level 98 lightning act 3 merc on SP with crescent moon or 30/30 crystal, faceted ormus, faceted griffons, and 20/20 faceted shield and it sucked so scrap this idea...

As you see i can be wrong, like with the mercstats, and there is nothing wrong with that. Thanks jordy, for pointing that out.
So some tests would be nice.

But where and when have you heard facts about that? I would like to know. Because CM does not affect other players or minions you might cast, so why should it affect any kind of cold damage your Merc does?

@Pimpin Dream Girl: Using my moderator powers for imposing an opinion on others or wanting to make a fact true which might be not is certainly not what i think off as using moderator powers in a way that benefits the whole Sorceress forum. Thx.
