Act 3 Ice Merc

Has anyone ever pimped out a act 3 merc with alot of plus skills and fast cast?

I know they wont do as much dmg as other mercs but Its something i think i wana try out. maybe spirit / spirit / shako and umm.. viper or something

It would make my life as a PvM zealer even easyer

why not an act 2 merc with holy freeze?
youll get the same slow down affect that i think you are looking for

and yes their fun.. i currently and redoing all my act3 mercs to duel dream/holy fire builds because i can run around and not have to do anything

Doom would be good if you can put on act 3.

Shame they cant use doom in a sword, or it would be quite nice.

For act 3 cold merc's, i always used them mainly for their freezing effects. I usually try to convert him into a meaty tank that chills things for me. I use full sazabie set & a stormshield {mass hel runes in everything, fal rune in the helm}. With the %hp gain, frw, and damage reduction from ss, and also his shiver armor, this guy can tank quite a bit.
