    Account Security

Someone accessed my friend's account and changed the pass. We can account for everyone that knew both the login and pass when it was accessed. It was created 2 months ago and had a 11 character pass with numbers, letters, and other characters.

How do I protect my accounts from attacks like this?

Are you saying that your group of friends all knew your friends pass? Regardless of the trustyness of your friends giving your pass our to other people who may have keylogers or other harmful hacks without even knowing it is risky IMO.

If any of your friends ever downloaded a third party program like a map hack then that makes that account vunerable to key loggers.

As for friends, I hope they were all real life friends. Good friends at that.

Always make sure that you can at least get to the guy and beat him up easily if you tell him your pass.

Just think of your password as a toothbrush. If you'd let them use your toothbrush, they're probably safe with your password...probably...

Yes. But you're buying your own plane ticket.
