    Absorb + MDR

So I just got a Stormlash and T-Gods, and I realized that in total I'll have 29 lightning absorb. But I was wondering about somethings. Will absorbs damage reduction and MDR work at the same time? Will the damage reduction for the absorb roll over to any physical portion of the attack the same way the MDR bug does? I plan on using Gladiators Bane unique armor with this setup, (it has 20 MDR) if an attack with 25 lightning damage came at me, would it reduce all the damage and carry over 24 damage reduction to the physical part?

Absorb works after MDR, so it would first reduce the damage by 20, then resistances would be calculated, and any remainder would be used in the absorb calculation. There is no absorb rollover from elemental to physical.
