    about how to use mirc

    hey, i just install the mirc for dc hunter and after i connect to the irc.dclone.org, when i input the channel name #useast-dclone.
    "u must identify registered nickname..." poped up.
    how to register? ty.

    and, btw, which server and channel is good for trade items?

    you type in /ns identify (YOUR PASSWORD). its case sensitive also, i was panicking since it wasn't accepting mine at first. =o

    i tried, but it said: the nick is not registered.

    oh. meh i forgot how to do that. eventually i got it by following the instructions provided though. =o

    Nickserv is a bot-like service available on some IRC networks --- it allows to register nicknames. Other people can still use that nickname (usually), but they will not be verified by nickserv, and many channels and other bots will only accept verified users.

    You just have to register your nick with nickserv. Usually you can just send it a /msg nickserv help to get a list of commands.
